**Quick answer — What does Banyan Proxies keep about me?**

Banyan Proxies keeps your account number, optional email, payment and order records, and connection metadata (time, account, exit IP, target hostname, bytes) for up to 30 days for abuse handling. It never logs request content or full URLs, and never collects ID documents, selfies or a legal name.

## Who is responsible for these records?

ProxyGoat LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (USA), which runs Banyan Proxies. Questions about your data go to support@banyanproxies.com.

## Which records exist?

| Record | What it contains | Why | How long |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Account | Account number, optional email, settings, sub-users | To run the account and let you log in | While the account is open |
| Payments | Coin, network, amount, transaction ID, date | To credit top-ups and keep accounts | While the account is open, then as long as accounting rules require |
| Orders and usage | Plans bought, traffic totals per plan and per sub-user | Billing and support | While the account is open, then as long as accounting rules require |
| Connection metadata | Time, account, exit IP, target hostname, bytes | Abuse reports and billing disputes | Up to 30 days, then deleted |
| Support emails | What you write to us | To answer you | Up to 12 months after the last message |

## What do you never record?

- The content of your requests and the pages you receive.
- Full URLs: plain-HTTP addresses are cut to the hostname before anything is logged.
- Identity documents, selfies or a legal name: we do not ask for them.
- Card or bank details: we only accept crypto.

## Who else can see anything?

Our upstream network provider carries your traffic and may keep its own logs under its own policy. The blockchain is public: anyone can see a payment on it, though not which account it credited. We disclose records to authorities only when the law requires it. We do not sell data and do not use advertising trackers.

## Does the site use cookies?

The public site sets no tracking cookies. The client area at `/app/` uses one session cookie to keep you logged in, and the site may remember your language choice in your browser's local storage.

## What are my rights?

You can ask for a copy of your records, a correction, or deletion of your account by writing to support@banyanproxies.com from the account email, or through the client area. Deleting an account removes its balance and unused traffic. Payment records that accounting rules require us to keep are kept for that period only. Depending on where you live, a data protection law may give you more rights; the [rules by country guide](https://banyanproxies.com/guides/proxy-rules-by-country/) lists the main laws in our region.

## How are records secured, and how does this policy change?

Access to records is limited to staff who need it, over encrypted connections. The service is not meant for children. Changes to this policy are dated here and listed on the [changelog](https://banyanproxies.com/changelog/).

## Which policies go with this one?

The [terms of service](https://banyanproxies.com/terms/), the [Acceptable Use Policy](https://banyanproxies.com/acceptable-use/) and [where our IPs come from](https://banyanproxies.com/sourcing/) complete this policy. Requests go through the [contact page](https://banyanproxies.com/contact/).
