It is run by ProxyGoat LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (USA). Residential traffic costs $1.88 for 1 GB and $50 for 100 GB (October 2026), with city targeting on every plan. ## Who runs Banyan Proxies? | Attribute | Value | | --- | --- | | Brand | Banyan Proxies | | Operator | ProxyGoat LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (USA) | | History | The team has been in the proxy business since 2019 | | Coverage | 70 city pages in 14 countries, from Mumbai to Auckland | | Products | Residential traffic per GB with city targeting; rotating mobile traffic per GB; dedicated 4G/5G ports by zone | | KYC | No KYC: no ID, no selfie, no documents to sign up, top up or buy | | Payment | Crypto only: BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC | | Support | Email replies within 12 hours, 7 days a week, support@banyanproxies.com | | Abuse | abuse@banyanproxies.com | ## Why organise a proxy service by city? Because in this region the city is where prices, stock and search results change. Marketplaces quote delivery fees and dates by city. Food and grocery apps show different shops in Bengaluru and in Pune. Search results for "dentist" or "car rental" in Manila and in Cebu City share almost nothing. A country-level IP lands wherever the pool happens to have a device online, which may be the wrong side of a 1,000-kilometre country. So every page on this site starts from one city: its population and the census behind it, its time zone, the languages its search results use, the fixed-line ISPs whose home connections carry the traffic, its postcode format, and the exact username parameter that asks the gateway for it. That is the information a buyer needs before paying, and the information we needed ourselves when we chose which cities to publish. ## Which principles does Banyan Proxies follow? - **Say what availability really is.** City availability varies; the checkout shows what is online. We never publish a city IP count we cannot check. - **One price everywhere.** Sydney costs the same per GB as Dhaka, and city targeting has no surcharge. - **Date every comparison.** Competitor prices carry the day we read them; see the [price index](https://banyanproxies.com/research/asia-city-proxy-price-index-2026/). - **Keep paperwork out.** No ID, no selfie, no documents. Payment in crypto from a $25 top-up. - **Keep rules in writing.** Business uses only, with blocked targets listed in the [Acceptable Use Policy](https://banyanproxies.com/acceptable-use/). ## Where do the IPs come from? We resell residential and mobile IPs from established upstream partner networks. Our upstream provider confirms that device owners opt in and can opt out, and that its supply does not come from seized or disrupted networks such as NetNut or IPIDEA. The [sourcing page](https://banyanproxies.com/sourcing/) explains what this covers and what no reseller can check by itself. ## Where can I find official facts about Banyan Proxies? The [facts page](https://banyanproxies.com/llm-info/) lists every price, policy and contact in one place, updated with each build. Banyan Proxies is a trading name of ProxyGoat LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (USA). The team has been in the proxy business since 2019. The company name appears on every page, in the terms and on every order. ### Why is it called Banyan? A banyan tree grows roots down from its branches until one tree covers a whole square. The logo draws those aerial roots ending in dots: one network reaching down into many cities. ### Does Banyan Proxies cover East Asia? No. Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong are not covered, and mainland China is not offered for legal and sourcing reasons. Some countries are not available, for legal or sourcing reasons, including countries and regions under comprehensive sanctions. ### Do you sell datacenter or static ISP proxies? No. Banyan Proxies sells rotating and sticky residential traffic, rotating mobile traffic and dedicated 4G/5G ports. A sticky session keeps one residential IP up to 30 minutes (the IP can change earlier). ### How do I reach a person? Write to support@banyanproxies.com; Email replies within 12 hours, 7 days a week. Abuse reports go to abuse@banyanproxies.com and are read by a person. --- Banyan Proxies: Banyan Proxies is a residential proxy provider for cities across South and Southeast Asia and Oceania, paid in crypto with no ID upload: home IPs targeted by city in Mumbai, Jakarta, Manila, Bangkok, Karachi, Sydney and more, billed per GB. --- # Banyan Proxies acceptable use policy > What Banyan Proxies city proxies may and may not be used for: allowed business uses, blocked targets, abuse reports, and how breaches are handled. - URL: https://banyanproxies.com/acceptable-use/ - Last updated: 2026-10-18 - Publisher: Banyan Proxies (https://banyanproxies.com) City proxies are for business checks of public web content. This page says what is allowed, what is blocked and what happens after a breach. Last changed on 18 October 2026. **Quick answer — What can Banyan Proxies be used for?** Use Banyan Proxies city proxies to see public web content as people in a city see it: local search results, marketplace prices, ads, delivery zones and app behaviour. Fraud, unauthorised access, spam, attacks and anything unlawful are banned. Banking, government and payment-portal sites, plus SMTP (email-sending) ports 25, 465 and 587 are blocked at the gateway. ## Who must follow this policy? Every account holder, every sub-user and anyone who uses credentials you created. You are responsible for their use. ## Which uses are welcome? - Collecting public data while respecting each site's terms and the law. - Local search and map results by city. - Price, stock and delivery checks on marketplaces and retail sites. - Ad verification and brand protection. - Testing apps and websites for users in a given city or time zone. - Market research and personal privacy. ## What ends an account? - Fraud of any kind, including payment fraud, fake orders, carding and phishing. - Logging in to accounts that are not yours, credential stuffing or account takeover. - Spam, mass messaging or fake engagement. - Denial-of-service traffic, scanning for vulnerabilities, or attacks on any system. - Content that exploits children, terrorism, or harassment of people. - Ticket or limited-stock scalping and bonus or promotion abuse. - Any use that breaks the law where you are or where the target is. ## Which targets are blocked? Banking, government and payment-portal sites, plus SMTP (email-sending) ports 25, 465 and 587. We may add targets to this list when we see abuse. A blocked request returns an error and does not count as a fault of the plan. ## Which local laws should I know about? Every country in our region has a computer-misuse law, and several have anti-spam or data protection rules. Examples: India's Information Technology Act 2000, the Philippines' Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012, Singapore's Computer Misuse Act 1993, Pakistan's Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2016 and Australia's Spam Act 2003. The [rules by country guide](https://banyanproxies.com/guides/proxy-rules-by-country/) lists the data protection law of each country. This is not legal advice. ## What do you expect from me? Keep request rates reasonable for each target, follow its terms, and stop when a site asks you to. Keep credentials private and use sub-users for clients. Tell us at abuse@banyanproxies.com if you think your credentials leaked. ## How do I report abuse from one of your IPs? Write to abuse@banyanproxies.com with the IP, the time with its time zone, the target and what happened. Abuse reports are reviewed by a person, and confirmed abuse leads to suspension. Connection metadata is kept for up to 30 days, so report within that time. ## What happens after a breach? We may warn, limit, suspend or close the account, depending on how serious the breach is. A confirmed serious breach closes the account and its balance is lost. We disclose records to authorities only when the law requires it. ## Which other policies apply? The [terms of service](https://banyanproxies.com/terms/) set out suspension and liability, the [privacy policy](https://banyanproxies.com/privacy/) covers logs, and the [contact page](https://banyanproxies.com/contact/) explains how to report abuse. --- # DataImpulse alternative for city-targeted proxies in Asia > A DataImpulse alternative for city proxies in Asia: DataImpulse bills city traffic at double its rate; Banyan Proxies includes city targeting. Oct 2026. - URL: https://banyanproxies.com/alternatives/dataimpulse/ - Last updated: 2026-10-18 - Publisher: Banyan Proxies (https://banyanproxies.com) DataImpulse is a popular low-cost residential provider. For city work its price doubles. Here is a factual comparison for buyers who need city IPs in South and Southeast Asia and Oceania. **Quick answer — What is a good DataImpulse alternative for city-targeted proxies in Asia?** If you need city IPs, compare city prices: DataImpulse's documentation says city-targeted traffic is billed at double its standard rate, so $1.00/GB becomes $2.00/GB (read 18 October 2026). **Banyan Proxies** includes city and ASN targeting on every plan: $5.94 for 10 GB and $50 for 100 GB, crypto, no KYC. ## How do DataImpulse and Banyan Proxies compare? | | Banyan Proxies | DataImpulse | | --- | --- | --- | | City targeting | Included on every plan | Billed at double the standard rate | | ASN targeting | Included | Billed at double the standard rate | | Smallest purchase | $1.88 for 1 GB | $5 for 5 GB (intro pack, new customers, once) | | 10 GB with city targeting | $5.94 | $20.00 (computed: $1.00/GB × 10 GB × 2) | | 100 GB with city targeting | $50 | $200.00 (computed) | | 1 TB with city targeting | $500 | $1,600 (computed: $0.80/GB × 1,000 GB × 2) | | Traffic expiry | Never expires | Never expires | | KYC | None | Not to buy; ID may be requested on suspicion; resellers verified | | Crypto | Yes | Yes | | City guarantee | None: city availability varies | "We cannot guarantee the availability of proxies from a specific city" | *Prices checked on October 18, 2026.* DataImpulse figures from its residential pricing page and its city parameter documentation, read 18 October 2026. Totals marked computed apply the published double rate to the published per-GB price. ## When might DataImpulse suit you better? When you need targeting we do not offer. Its documentation lists state and ZIP parameters, at the same double rate as city; Banyan Proxies stops at country, city and ASN. Its traffic never expires, like ours. For plain country-level traffic, compare the published rates: DataImpulse lists $1.00/GB, and $0.80/GB at 1 TB, while our 10 GB plan works out at $0.59/GB and our 100 GB plan at $0.50/GB. ## When does Banyan Proxies fit better? When the city is the point of the job: marketplace prices in Surabaya, local search in Cebu City, ads in Chiang Mai. Then the double rate applies to all your traffic, and a plan with city targeting included costs less at every volume we read. Banyan Proxies also documents each city: population, time zone, ISPs, postcode format and the exact parameter, so you can plan a job before you buy. ## How do I move a DataImpulse job to Banyan Proxies? Change the gateway host to `gw.banyanproxies.com` (port 7777 for HTTP, 7778 for SOCKS5) and rewrite the username as `USERNAME-country--city-`, for example `USERNAME-country-my-city-kuala_lumpur`. Sessions use `-session--ttl-`. The [city syntax page](https://banyanproxies.com/targeting/city/) has tested curl, Python and Node.js examples. ## Where else can I compare? Our tiers are on the [pricing page](https://banyanproxies.com/pricing/). ## What else do buyers ask when leaving DataImpulse? ### Is DataImpulse cheaper than Banyan Proxies? On the prices read on 18 October 2026, no: DataImpulse lists $1.00/GB at country level and $2.00/GB with city targeting, against $0.59/GB on our 10 GB plan. Prices change: compare the rate for the parameter you will use on the day you buy. We do not claim to be the cheapest at any volume. ### Does DataImpulse require KYC? Not to buy, according to its terms read on 18 October 2026; it may ask for ID if use looks prohibited, and resellers must be verified. Banyan Proxies asks for no ID, no selfie and no documents. ### Can I pay both in crypto? Yes. DataImpulse accepts crypto through a payment processor; Banyan Proxies accepts BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC directly. ## Where do these facts come from? 1. Two reasons come up for city work in this region. First, price at small volumes: at $7.35 for 1 GB, testing ten cities costs more than many full plans elsewhere. Second, identity checks: IPRoyal's information page says all clients undergo identity verification, while a help article calls it optional. Buyers who prefer not to upload identity documents want a clear answer before paying. ## Where is IPRoyal stronger? Breadth of published city lists: its location pages list hundreds of Indian cities and well over a hundred in Thailand, the Philippines, Australia and Indonesia. If you need a small town that is not on our [city index](https://banyanproxies.com/cities/), check its list. ## How do I switch an IPRoyal job to Banyan Proxies? Point the job at `gw.banyanproxies.com` (port 7777 for HTTP or 7778 for SOCKS5) and write the location in the username: `USERNAME-country-th-city-bangkok`. For one IP over several requests, add `-session--ttl-`; up to 30 minutes (the IP can change earlier). Tested examples are on the [city syntax page](https://banyanproxies.com/targeting/city/). ## Where else can I compare? The [price index](https://banyanproxies.com/research/asia-city-proxy-price-index-2026/) lists eight providers, the [DataImpulse alternative](https://banyanproxies.com/alternatives/dataimpulse/) covers the double city rate, and [city proxies without KYC](https://banyanproxies.com/no-kyc/) explains what we ask for. Our tiers are on the [pricing page](https://banyanproxies.com/pricing/). ## What else do buyers ask when leaving IPRoyal? ### Is Banyan Proxies cheaper than IPRoyal? On the prices read on 18 October 2026, yes at 1 GB and 10 GB: $1.88 against $7.35, and $5.94 against about $55. IPRoyal publishes no price between 10 GB and 10 TB, so larger volumes cannot be compared from its public page. ### Does IPRoyal need ID? Its own pages disagree: its information page says all clients undergo identity verification, and a help article calls verification optional but highly recommended. Banyan Proxies asks for no ID, no selfie and no documents. ### Do both keep unused traffic? Yes. IPRoyal's residential traffic never expires, and so does ours: Prepaid residential and rotating-mobile traffic never expires: unused GB stay on your account until you use them. ## Where do these facts come from? 1. We read each provider's public pricing and documentation on 18 October 2026 and scored the same six criteria for city work in our region. City targeting comes first, because a surcharge doubles the real price for this job. Then the price at 1 GB (the cost of testing a city) and at volume, KYC, crypto and expiry. We rank ourselves first and say so: read the conditions and check the [price index](https://banyanproxies.com/research/asia-city-proxy-price-index-2026/) for the raw data. Geonode, whose monthly plans have the lowest per-GB figures from 10 GB, is left out of the ranking because it requires ID or business registration for all accounts; it is in the index. ## Which provider fits which buyer? - **Paying in crypto, no ID, city by city:** Banyan Proxies or ProxyWing. - **Monthly budget, card payments, large published pool:** Decodo or Oxylabs. - **Country-level volume work:** DataImpulse's base rate, as long as you do not need cities. - **Lowest per-GB at 1 TB with a subscription and ID:** Geonode, $0.50/GB. For India, Southeast Asia or Australia and New Zealand, see the [India](https://banyanproxies.com/best/india-city-proxies-2026/), [Southeast Asia](https://banyanproxies.com/best/southeast-asia-city-proxies-2026/) and [Australia and New Zealand](https://banyanproxies.com/best/australia-new-zealand-city-proxies-2026/) rankings. ## Which regional rankings go deeper? For one region, read the [best India city proxies](https://banyanproxies.com/best/india-city-proxies-2026/), the [best Southeast Asia city proxies](https://banyanproxies.com/best/southeast-asia-city-proxies-2026/) or the [best Australia and New Zealand city proxies](https://banyanproxies.com/best/australia-new-zealand-city-proxies-2026/). Single-provider comparisons: [DataImpulse alternative](https://banyanproxies.com/alternatives/dataimpulse/), [IPRoyal alternative](https://banyanproxies.com/alternatives/iproyal/). ## What else do buyers ask about Asia city proxies? ### Is the provider with the most IPs the best for city work? Not necessarily. Published counts are country totals of addresses seen over time, not devices online in a city now. What matters is whether the city you need has IPs online when you run your job, and that the price does not double for city targeting. Test with a small plan. ### Why is Banyan Proxies ranked first? Because this ranking is ours, and we built the service for this job: city targeting included, documented cities, no ID, crypto. We publish the criteria and the competitor data so readers can rank differently. We do not claim to be the cheapest at any volume. ### Do any of these providers cover mainland China? This ranking covers South and Southeast Asia and Oceania only. Banyan Proxies does not offer mainland China, Myanmar or Afghanistan. ## Where do these facts come from? 1. Competitor details come from their public websites at the date shown above and may have changed since.* ## Why does the city matter in Australia and New Zealand? Distances are large and markets are state-based. Retailers such as Woolworths, Coles and JB Hi-Fi show stock and delivery by location; real-estate portals rank listings by suburb; local search for trades and clinics changes by city. Time zones matter too: Sydney and Melbourne use AEST/AEDT, Brisbane stays on UTC+10:00 all year, Adelaide is on UTC+09:30 and Perth on UTC+08:00 with no daylight saving. New Zealand runs NZST/NZDT, two hours ahead of Sydney for most of the year. ## Which networks carry Australian and New Zealand home IPs? In Australia most homes connect through the NBN, a wholesale network, with retail ISPs such as Telstra, Optus, TPG Telecom and Aussie Broadband; the IP belongs to the retail ISP. In New Zealand, fibre is built by local fibre companies and sold by retailers such as Spark, One NZ and 2degrees. The [ASN table](https://banyanproxies.com/targeting/asn/) gives each retailer's network number. ## Where do I go from here? Compare cities on the [Australia](https://banyanproxies.com/cities/australia/) and [New Zealand](https://banyanproxies.com/cities/new-zealand/) overviews, see every region in the [best city proxies for Asia](https://banyanproxies.com/best/asia-city-proxies-2026/), and check named prices in the [price index](https://banyanproxies.com/research/asia-city-proxy-price-index-2026/). ## What else do buyers ask about Australia and NZ city proxies? ### Can I target an Australian postcode? No provider in this ranking documents Australian postcode targeting; ours stops at the city. Load the retailer from the right city, then set the postcode in the site to see local stock. ### Is Canberra covered? Yes: `USERNAME-country-au-city-canberra`. City availability varies; the checkout shows what is online. ### Does the Privacy Act apply to my checks? Australia's Privacy Act 1988 and New Zealand's Privacy Act 2020 cover personal information. Public prices and search results are a different case. This is not legal advice; see [rules by country](https://banyanproxies.com/guides/proxy-rules-by-country/). ## Where do these facts come from? 1. Quick-commerce apps such as Blinkit, Zepto and Swiggy Instamart show different stores and stock by neighbourhood; Flipkart, Amazon.in and Meesho quote delivery dates by PIN code. Search results for local services differ between Delhi, Gurugram and Noida even though they share one metro area. A random Indian IP may sit in Kochi when you report on Pune. ## Which networks carry Indian home IPs? TRAI data for 31 August 2026 count 48.63 million wired broadband connections in India. Reliance Jio leads with 14.81 million, then Bharti Airtel with 11.44 million, BSNL with 4.56 million and ACT Fibernet with 2.48 million. City pages list the providers we found serving each city, such as Hathway in Mumbai or Asianet Broadband in Kochi, and the [ASN table](https://banyanproxies.com/targeting/asn/) gives their network numbers. ## Which Indian cities can I buy proxies in? - [Mumbai](https://banyanproxies.com/residential-proxies/mumbai/) — Maharashtra - [Delhi](https://banyanproxies.com/residential-proxies/delhi/) — National Capital Territory of Delhi - [Bengaluru](https://banyanproxies.com/residential-proxies/bengaluru/) — Karnataka - [Hyderabad](https://banyanproxies.com/residential-proxies/hyderabad/) — Telangana - [Chennai](https://banyanproxies.com/residential-proxies/chennai/) — Tamil Nadu - [Kolkata](https://banyanproxies.com/residential-proxies/kolkata/) — West Bengal - [Pune](https://banyanproxies.com/residential-proxies/pune/) — Maharashtra - [Ahmedabad](https://banyanproxies.com/residential-proxies/ahmedabad/) — Gujarat - [Jaipur](https://banyanproxies.com/residential-proxies/jaipur/) — Rajasthan - [Surat](https://banyanproxies.com/residential-proxies/surat/) — Gujarat - [Lucknow](https://banyanproxies.com/residential-proxies/lucknow/) — Uttar Pradesh - [Kochi](https://banyanproxies.com/residential-proxies/kochi/) — Kerala - [Chandigarh](https://banyanproxies.com/residential-proxies/chandigarh/) — Chandigarh - [Indore](https://banyanproxies.com/residential-proxies/indore/) — Madhya Pradesh ## Where do I go from here? No provider in this ranking documents PIN-code targeting for India; targeting stops at the city. Load the target from the right city, then enter a PIN code on the site to set the delivery address. ### Does India's data protection law affect proxy use? The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 governs personal data; its main duties apply from May 2027 under the Rules notified in November 2025. Checking public prices or search results is a different case from collecting personal data. This is not legal advice. ### Which Indian city should I test first? The city of the market you report on. If you only need any metro, test Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru: they are the largest home-broadband markets on our list. Use the 1 GB plan at $1.88. ## Where do these facts come from? 1. Tourist areas outside Denpasar may be labelled with their own names by lookup tools. ### Is Singapore a city or a country here? Both: Singapore is a city-state, so its page covers the whole island. The tiers were set against eight named competitors whose public prices were read that same day, and each change since then is dated here. ## What changed on 18 October 2026? - City pages published, operated by ProxyGoat LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (USA). - 70 city pages across India, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Cambodia, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand. - Residential prices: $1.88 for 1 GB, $5.94 for 10 GB, $50 for 100 GB, $500 for 1 TB. - Dedicated 4G/5G ports by zone: $3 a day in South and Southeast Asia, $4.50 a day in Singapore, Australia and New Zealand, subject to stock. - First [city proxy price index](https://banyanproxies.com/research/asia-city-proxy-price-index-2026/), eight providers read on 18 October 2026. ## What does each entry record? A price change never affects traffic already bought. ## How often are prices reviewed? Competitor prices on the [index page](https://banyanproxies.com/research/asia-city-proxy-price-index-2026/) are re-read at least every 45 days. Our own prices change only with a dated entry here. ## Which changes are planned or pending? Two service facts wait on tests before their wording can change: the maximum sticky-session length, published today as up to 30 minutes, and the exact rotation mode. The spelling the gateway expects for cities with two names, such as Bangalore and Bengaluru, is also being confirmed. Any change will appear here with its date, and the city pages will be updated the same day. ## How do I follow changes? Check this page, or the machine-readable price list at `/pricing.json`, which changes with every price update. The [facts page](https://banyanproxies.com/llm-info/) is rebuilt with each release and shows the date of the last update in its title. We publish a city when we can document it with sourced local data: an official population figure with its census year, the fixed-line ISPs that serve it, its time zone and postcode format. That gives the largest cities of each country first, then regional centres with their own markets, such as Cebu City, Chiang Mai, Surabaya or Christchurch. A city without that data gets no page. The city parameter still accepts other cities in the same 14 countries. ## Which countries are not covered? Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong are outside this site's scope. Mainland China, Myanmar, Afghanistan, Iran and North Korea are not offered. Some countries are not available, for legal or sourcing reasons, including countries and regions under comprehensive sanctions. ## What should I read before choosing a city? Start from the [Banyan Proxies home page](https://banyanproxies.com/) for the plans, then the [city targeting syntax](https://banyanproxies.com/targeting/city/) for the parameter. The [proxy city checker](https://banyanproxies.com/guides/verify-proxy-city/) explains why a lookup may name a suburb, and [rotating residential proxies by city](https://banyanproxies.com/residential-proxies/) sums up what every plan includes. ## What else do buyers ask about the city list? ### Do all cities cost the same? Yes. Banyan Proxies charges by GB, not by city: $1.88 for 1 GB, $5.94 for 10 GB and $500 for 1 TB, as of October 2026, whether you target Sydney or Kathmandu. City targeting adds nothing. ### Can I target a city that is not in the list? Often, yes: the parameter accepts other cities in the same 14 countries, written in lowercase with underscores. These pages only document cities we could research. City availability varies; the checkout shows what is online. ### How do I switch between cities in one job? Change the city segment in the username for each request or session. One plan covers every city, so a script can loop over `city-mumbai`, `city-delhi` and `city-bengaluru` with the same credentials. ### Why do some cities show a different name in lookup tools? Geolocation databases draw city borders their own way. A home in a suburb may appear under the suburb's name. Each city page lists the nearby places you may see, and the [city check guide](https://banyanproxies.com/guides/verify-proxy-city/) shows how to test. --- # City targeting surcharges: 8 providers compared > Which residential proxy providers charge extra for city targeting? 8 providers checked on 18 October 2026: DataImpulse doubles the rate, 7 include it. - URL: https://banyanproxies.com/compare/city-targeting-surcharges/ - Last updated: 2026-10-18 - Publisher: Banyan Proxies (https://banyanproxies.com) A city-level residential proxy is usually priced like any other GB. One well-known provider doubles the rate. Here is what eight providers publish, and how to compare offers for city work. **Quick answer — Do residential proxy providers charge extra for city targeting?** Most do not. Of eight self-service providers read on 18 October 2026, seven include city targeting in their residential price. DataImpulse bills city-targeted traffic at double its standard rate, which turns $1.00/GB into $2.00/GB. Banyan Proxies includes city and ASN targeting on every plan, from $1.88 for 1 GB. ## What does each provider charge for city targeting? | Provider | City targeting | What the provider says | Base price, smallest unit | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Banyan Proxies | Included on every plan | "Country and city targeting on every plan; ASN targeting at no extra cost." | $1.88 for 1 GB | | DataImpulse | Double rate | City traffic "is billed at double the standard rate" | $5 for 5 GB (intro pack) | | ProxyWing | Included | "with no surcharge for finer location control" | $2.50 for 1 GB | | Decodo | Included | City, ZIP code and ASN "at no extra charge" | $4.00 for 1 GB (pay-as-you-go) | | Rayobyte | Included | "Every tier includes country, city, ZIP code and ASN targeting." | $3.50 per GB below 50 GB | | Webshare | Included | "Country, city, state, ZIP and ASN targeting" | $3.50 for 1 GB (monthly) | | Oxylabs | Included | "Free geo-targeting" | $6.00 per GB up to 5 GB (monthly) | | IPRoyal | Included | "Geo-targeting by state, country, city, and ISP" | $7.35 for 1 GB | | Geonode | Available, terms not stated | City-level targeting "when matching IPs are available" | $7.92 for 10 GB (monthly) | *Prices checked on October 18, 2026.* Quotes and prices from each provider's own pages, read on 18 October 2026. Sources at the bottom of the page. ## How much does a surcharge change the real price? Take 10 GB of city-targeted traffic. At DataImpulse's base rate it would cost $10; at the city rate it costs $20. ProxyWing's 10 GB costs $21.30 with city included; Banyan Proxies's 10 GB costs $5.94. At 1 TB the DataImpulse city rate is $1.60/GB, against $0.50/GB here. Compare offers on the price you will actually pay for the parameter you will actually use. ## What else matters for city work besides the price? - **What happens when a city is empty.** If a city has no IP online, a request may fail or land elsewhere. DataImpulse's docs say it cannot guarantee proxies from a specific city; Geonode targets cities "when matching IPs are available". Whatever the provider, check the exit city of each IP before you trust the data. - **Expiry.** City tests come in bursts. Monthly plans that reset can waste unused GB; prepaid traffic that never expires does not. - **Session length.** A sticky city IP is needed for multi-page checks. Sticky sessions keep the same IP for the time you set (ttl, in minutes), up to 30 minutes. The IP can change earlier, for example if the residential device goes offline. - **Paperwork.** Some providers ask every customer for ID; we do not. ## Where can I see the full price data? The [Asia city proxy price index](https://banyanproxies.com/research/asia-city-proxy-price-index-2026/) has every tier read on 18 October 2026. The [DataImpulse alternative](https://banyanproxies.com/alternatives/dataimpulse/) page works through the double rate on real volumes, and [our pricing](https://banyanproxies.com/pricing/) shows what a city GB costs here. ## What else do buyers ask about city surcharges? ### Is a ZIP or postcode surcharge common too? Postcode targeting is mostly a United States feature, and DataImpulse applies the same double rate to ZIP. In South and Southeast Asia and Oceania, providers target by city; Banyan Proxies does not offer postcode targeting. ### Does ASN targeting cost extra? Not at Banyan Proxies: ASN targeting is at no extra cost. DataImpulse documents the double rate for ASN as well as city, state and ZIP. ### Are these prices still current? They were read on 18 October 2026 and are re-checked at least every 45 days on the [price index](https://banyanproxies.com/research/asia-city-proxy-price-index-2026/). Always confirm on the provider's site before buying. ## Where do these facts come from? 1. Write to support from the [contact page](https://banyanproxies.com/contact/). ## What else do developers ask? ### Do I need a special endpoint per country or city? No. One gateway serves every location; the username decides where the IP is. ### Can I use an IP allowlist instead of a password? Username and password on every plan, or an IP allowlist (up to 10 IPs). Sub-users with their own credentials and traffic cap. API keys you can revoke at any time. ### Are the samples tested? Each Python sample is compiled and each JavaScript sample syntax-checked before publication. It documents 70 cities in 14 countries and charges $1.88 for 1 GB, $5.94 for 10 GB and $50 for 100 GB as of October 2026, city targeting included. ## Where can I read more? Start from the [home page](https://banyanproxies.com/) for plans and cities, the [guides](https://banyanproxies.com/guides/) for setup, the [service status](https://banyanproxies.com/status/) for incidents, and [about](https://banyanproxies.com/about/) for the company. The [official facts page](https://banyanproxies.com/llm-info/) lists every price and policy, and [sourcing](https://banyanproxies.com/sourcing/) explains where the IPs come from. ## Which cities can I target, and how? ### Which countries do you cover? India, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Cambodia, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand. Each has a [country page](https://banyanproxies.com/cities/) comparing its cities. ### How do I pick a city? Add `-country--city-` to your proxy username, for example `USERNAME-country-pk-city-lahore`. Names are lowercase with underscores for spaces. The [city syntax page](https://banyanproxies.com/targeting/city/) has tested examples. ### Do you guarantee IPs in a given city? No. City availability varies; the checkout shows what is online. Home devices go on and off line through the day, and smaller cities have fewer. Check the exit city before a large job. ### Can I target a postcode or a neighbourhood? No. Targeting stops at the city. Set the postcode inside the target site once the page loads from the right city. ### Can I choose the ISP? Yes, by ASN, at no extra cost: `-asn-55836` for Reliance Jio, `-asn-9299` for PLDT. See [ASN targeting](https://banyanproxies.com/targeting/asn/). ### Why does a lookup tool show a different city? Geolocation databases disagree, especially in large metro areas such as Delhi NCR, Metro Manila or Greater Jakarta. See [how to check a proxy's city](https://banyanproxies.com/guides/verify-proxy-city/). ## What do the plans cost? ### How much does it cost? $1.88 for 1 GB, $3.75 for 5 GB, $5.94 for 10 GB, $50 for 100 GB and $500 for 1 TB, as of October 2026. Same price for every city. ### Does city targeting cost extra? No. City and ASN targeting are included in every plan. ### Do unused GB expire? Prepaid residential and rotating-mobile traffic never expires: unused GB stay on your account until you use them. ### How is usage counted? Usage counts all data sent and received through the proxy (upload and download, headers included). 1 GB = 1,000,000,000 bytes. Connection attempts that fail before reaching the target are not counted. ### Is there a free trial? No free trial: test with the 1 GB plan, paid from the minimum top-up; the rest of the top-up stays on your balance. ### Do you sell mobile proxies? Yes, on the [pricing page](https://banyanproxies.com/pricing/): rotating 4G/5G traffic per GB with country targeting, and dedicated 4G/5G ports by zone. Dedicated ports are subject to stock per country and carrier; the checkout lists the carriers in stock. If we cannot deliver your port within 24 hours, its full price goes back to your balance. ## How do account, payment and privacy work? ### Do you ask for ID? No. No KYC: no ID, no selfie, no documents to sign up, top up or buy. Login uses an account number and email is optional. ### Which coins can I pay with? BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC, with USDT on TRC-20 or ERC-20 and USDC on ERC-20. You top up the price of the plan you pick, never less than $25. See [pay with crypto](https://banyanproxies.com/pay-with-crypto/). ### How fast is a top-up credited? Once the network confirms it. Send the exact amount shown, then click "I've sent the payment"; the payment is matched by its exact amount. Confirmation times depend on the coin and the network. ### What do you log? We do not log the content of your requests, full URLs or page data. To handle abuse reports and billing disputes, we keep connection metadata (time, account, exit IP, target hostname, bytes) for up to 30 days, then delete it. We keep your account number, orders, top-up records and traffic totals while your account is open, and afterwards only as long as accounting rules require. We disclose records to authorities only when the law requires it. Our upstream network provider may keep its own logs under its own policy. ### Can I get a refund? Within 72 hours of purchase, a residential or rotating-mobile plan is credited back to your balance if you used less than 20% of its traffic and no more than 1 GB; a plan that does not work, and that support cannot fix within 24 hours, is credited back in full. Dedicated ports: within 24 hours of delivery (2 hours for a 1-day port), the port is credited back to your balance in full if it does not work and we cannot fix or replace it, or if it has carried less than 500 MB. A port we cannot deliver within 24 hours is credited back in full. If a port stops working later and support cannot fix it within 24 hours, the lost days are credited back. Top-ups are not paid back, except where the law requires it; the part added only to reach the minimum top-up is refundable on request within 30 days, in USDT or USDC, if unspent. ### What if I lose my account number? Your account number is your login: save it somewhere safe. Add an email (optional) if you want a way to recover it. Without an email, a lost account number cannot be recovered. ## How do I set up and use the proxies? ### Which protocols do you support? HTTP, HTTPS (CONNECT) and SOCKS5. Gateway `gw.banyanproxies.com`, port 7777 for HTTP and HTTPS, 7778 for SOCKS5. ### How long can I keep one IP? Sticky sessions keep the same IP for the time you set (ttl, in minutes), up to 30 minutes. The IP can change earlier, for example if the residential device goes offline. See [sticky sessions](https://banyanproxies.com/guides/sticky-sessions/). ### How does rotation work? Each new connection gets an IP from the pool, usually a different one; to get a new IP on every request, send one request per connection (turn off keep-alive). ### Can my team share an account? Username and password on every plan, or an IP allowlist (up to 10 IPs). Sub-users with their own credentials and traffic cap. API keys you can revoke at any time. ### What is not allowed? Fraud, unauthorised access, spam, attacks and anything unlawful. Banking, government and payment-portal sites, plus SMTP (email-sending) ports 25, 465 and 587 are blocked. Read the [Acceptable Use Policy](https://banyanproxies.com/acceptable-use/). ### How do I contact support? Email support@banyanproxies.com; Email replies within 12 hours, 7 days a week. Abuse reports go to abuse@banyanproxies.com. --- # City proxy glossary for buyers > Glossary of city proxy terms: residential IP, city targeting, ASN, sticky session, rotation, geolocation database, CGNAT, NBN and more, with examples from Asia. - URL: https://banyanproxies.com/glossary/ - Last updated: 2026-10-18 - Publisher: Banyan Proxies (https://banyanproxies.com) The terms used across this site, with examples from our 14 countries. **Quick answer — What does city targeting mean for a proxy?** City targeting means asking the proxy gateway for an exit IP that belongs to a home connection in a given city, such as Bengaluru or Brisbane. With Banyan Proxies you add `-city-` to the username, at no extra cost, from $1.88 for 1 GB. City availability varies, and websites place IPs with their own geolocation databases. ## Which terms should a buyer know? **Residential IP** — An address that a home internet provider, such as Jio, PLDT or Telstra, assigns to a subscriber's connection. Websites see it as an ordinary household. **City targeting** — Choosing the city of the exit IP, with `-city-` in the username. Availability depends on home devices online in that city. **City parameter** — The lowercase city name in the username, with underscores for spaces: `ho_chi_minh_city`, `kuala_lumpur`. **ASN** — Autonomous system number: the number of one operator's network, such as AS9299 for PLDT. ASN targeting keeps traffic on one ISP. **Rotating session** — Each new connection gets an IP from the pool, usually a different one. **Sticky session** — One IP kept for the time you set with `-ttl-`, up to 30 minutes; it can change earlier if the device goes offline. **Session ID** — A label you choose, such as `-session-b1`, that ties requests to one sticky IP. **Geolocation database** — A dataset that maps IP blocks to places. Different databases can give different cities for the same IP. **Metro area** — A city and its suburbs, often spread across several administrative units, such as Delhi NCR, Metro Manila or Jabodetabek around Jakarta. **CGNAT** — Carrier-grade NAT: many subscribers share one public IP. It is common on mobile networks and some fixed-wireless home services. **NBN** — Australia's National Broadband Network, a wholesale network over which retail ISPs such as Telstra or Aussie Broadband sell home plans. **Local fibre company** — In New Zealand, the company that built the fibre in a city, such as Enable in Christchurch or Tuatahi First Fibre in Hamilton; retail ISPs sell over it. **Dedicated 4G/5G port** — A mobile modem reserved for one customer, billed per day, with IP rotation by link, API or timer. Proxy (data) access only: no SMS, no calls, and no direct access to the SIM card or the device. **Top-up** — A crypto payment that credits your balance: the price of the plan you pick, never less than $25. The plan is then bought from the balance. **KYC** — Know your customer: identity checks with documents or selfies. Banyan Proxies does not do KYC. **PIN code** — India's six-digit postal code, such as 400001 for Fort in Mumbai. Useful to set a delivery address inside sites; not a proxy targeting option. ## Where do these terms matter most? City, metro area and geolocation database matter in every check; read [how to check a proxy's city](https://banyanproxies.com/guides/verify-proxy-city/). ASN matters when results depend on the ISP; read [ASN targeting](https://banyanproxies.com/targeting/asn/). Sessions matter for multi-step tasks; read [sticky sessions](https://banyanproxies.com/guides/sticky-sessions/). ## Where are these terms used? Most appear in the [city targeting syntax](https://banyanproxies.com/targeting/city/), the [docs](https://banyanproxies.com/docs/) and the [FAQ](https://banyanproxies.com/faq/). The [home page](https://banyanproxies.com/) summarises the plans. --- # City proxy guides for buyers in Asia and Oceania > Guides for city proxies in South and Southeast Asia and Oceania: setup, city checks, sticky sessions, local rules by country and tested code samples. - URL: https://banyanproxies.com/guides/ - Last updated: 2026-10-18 - Publisher: Banyan Proxies (https://banyanproxies.com) Setup, city checks, sessions and local rules, written for city-level work in our 14 countries. **Quick answer — Which city proxy guides should I read before buying?** Start with the [city proxy trial guide](https://banyanproxies.com/guides/getting-started/): test any city with the 1 GB plan at $1.88, add `-country--city-` to the username, and check the exit city. Five steps from an empty account to a verified city IP, with browser, curl and code settings. **Quick answer — Is there a city proxy trial for Asian cities?** There is no free trial at Banyan Proxies: the 1 GB plan at $1.88 is the test, paid from the $25 minimum top-up, with the rest kept on your balance (October 2026). Add `-country-my-city-george_town` or any city parameter to the username, check the exit city, then buy a larger plan. No KYC. ## How do I test a city in five steps? 1. **Create an account** — Open the client area and save the account number: it is your login. Your account number is your login: save it somewhere safe. Add an email (optional) if you want a way to recover it. Without an email, a lost account number cannot be recovered. 2. **Top up in crypto** — For the 1 GB test, send the $25 minimum in BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC; for a larger plan, send its price. Use the exact amount and network shown, then click "I've sent the payment". The payment is matched by its exact amount and credited once the network confirms it. 3. **Buy a plan** — Buy a residential plan from the balance. Credentials appear in your dashboard as soon as you buy a plan from your confirmed crypto balance. 4. **Build the username** — Start from your username and add -country--city-, for example -country-vn-city-hanoi. Each city page gives the exact parameter. 5. **Connect and check** — Use host gw.banyanproxies.com, port 7777 (HTTP/HTTPS) or 7778 (SOCKS5), then open an IP lookup through the proxy and read the city. ## Which settings go in a browser or a tool? Any tool that accepts an HTTP or SOCKS5 proxy with a username and password works. - **Host:** `gw.banyanproxies.com` - **Port:** 7777 for HTTP and HTTPS, 7778 for SOCKS5 - **Username:** `USERNAME-country-th-city-chiang_mai` (your own username, then the segments) - **Password:** your proxy password from the client area In Firefox, set the proxy under Settings > Network Settings > Manual proxy configuration. Chrome uses the system proxy, which does not accept a username in the address; use an extension that supports authenticated proxies, or a separate browser profile set up for that tool. ## How do I test from the command line? One request shows whether the credentials, the port and the city work. *curl: check credentials and city* ```bash curl -x http://gw.banyanproxies.com:7777 \ -U "USERNAME-country-my-city-kuala_lumpur:PASSWORD" \ https://ipinfo.io/json ``` ## What do common errors mean? - **407 Proxy Authentication Required:** the username or password is wrong. Copy them again from the client area, and check that the city segment uses hyphens between parts and underscores inside names. - **Connection refused or timeout on the gateway:** check the port: 7777 for HTTP, 7778 for SOCKS5. - **A different city in the lookup:** geolocation databases disagree near city borders; see [how to check a proxy's city](https://banyanproxies.com/guides/verify-proxy-city/). - **Errors only for one city:** home devices may be offline there at that hour; retry later, or use a nearby city. ## What comes after the first request? Pick the city on the [city index](https://banyanproxies.com/cities/), learn the full syntax on [city targeting](https://banyanproxies.com/targeting/city/), keep one IP with [sticky sessions](https://banyanproxies.com/guides/sticky-sessions/), and copy code from the [docs](https://banyanproxies.com/docs/). When the test works, choose a larger plan on the [pricing page](https://banyanproxies.com/pricing/); paying is explained on [buy with crypto](https://banyanproxies.com/pay-with-crypto/). ## What else do buyers ask before testing a city? ### How long does a top-up take? It is credited once the network confirms it; the time depends on the coin and the network, and the payment page shows the usual times. We do not promise a delay. ### Can I test before a bigger plan? No free trial: test with the 1 GB plan, paid from the minimum top-up; the rest of the top-up stays on your balance. ### Can several people share one plan? Yes, with sub-users: Sub-users with their own credentials and traffic cap, one per client or project. Each gets its own credentials and traffic cap. ### Do I need an email? No. Account-number login; email is optional. Add one only if you want a way to recover the account. --- # Residential proxy laws in Asia: 14 countries before you buy > Data protection laws and digital tax rules in 14 countries of South and Southeast Asia and Oceania, for teams using proxies. Once a job stores personal data about people in one of these countries, that country's law may apply to you even if you are abroad: Vietnam's 2025 law, Indonesia's Law No. 27 of 2022 and Malaysia's amended Act all reach processing that affects their residents. Keep jobs to the data you need, and delete what you do not. ## Which laws are new or still changing? - **India:** the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules were notified in November 2025; the main duties apply from May 2027. - **Vietnam:** Law No. 91/2025/QH15 took effect on 1 January 2026, with Decree 356/2025/ND-CP. - **Malaysia:** the 2024 amendments came into force in three phases in 2025. - **Sri Lanka:** the 2022 Act, amended in 2025, is not fully in force. - **Bangladesh:** a Personal Data Protection Ordinance was gazetted in November 2025. - **Pakistan and Cambodia:** data protection bills are still drafts. ## What does the tax column mean for me? It shows the tax a foreign seller of digital services usually charges consumers in that country, which is why local prices on marketplaces and apps include VAT or GST. It does not change the price of Banyan Proxies plans, which are sold in USD. ## What do the Banyan Proxies rules add? Our [Acceptable Use Policy](https://banyanproxies.com/acceptable-use/) applies on top of local law: Banking, government and payment-portal sites, plus SMTP (email-sending) ports 25, 465 and 587 are blocked, and fraud, intrusion, spam and attacks end an account. Some countries are not available, for legal or sourcing reasons, including countries and regions under comprehensive sanctions. ## Which of our policies apply as well? The [terms of service](https://banyanproxies.com/terms/), the [privacy policy](https://banyanproxies.com/privacy/) and the [Acceptable Use Policy](https://banyanproxies.com/acceptable-use/) apply on top of local law. Each country overview on the [city index](https://banyanproxies.com/cities/) repeats its law and tax. ## What else do buyers ask about local rules? ### Is web scraping legal in India? Collecting public web data is not banned as such, but the Information Technology Act 2000 punishes unauthorised access, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 governs personal data. Respect each site's terms and technical limits. This is not legal advice. ### Do I need to register anything to use proxies in these countries? We know of no country in this list that asks a user to register before viewing public pages through a proxy. The rules apply to what you collect and how you use it. This is not legal advice. ### Why is mainland China not covered? For legal and sourcing reasons. Some countries are not available, for legal or sourcing reasons, including countries and regions under comprehensive sanctions. ## Where do these facts come from? 1. [IRD: GST for overseas businesses](https://www.ird.govt.nz/gst/gst-for-overseas-businesses) (2026-10-18) --- Banyan Proxies: Banyan Proxies is a residential proxy provider for cities across South and Southeast Asia and Oceania, paid in crypto with no ID upload: home IPs targeted by city in Mumbai, Jakarta, Manila, Bangkok, Karachi, Sydney and more, billed per GB. --- # Sticky residential proxies by city: one IP for up to 30 minutes > Sticky residential proxies by city in Asia and Oceania: keep one Bangkok, Jakarta or Sydney IP for up to 30 minutes with -session and -ttl. From $1.88 per GB. - URL: https://banyanproxies.com/guides/sticky-sessions/ - Last updated: 2026-10-18 - Publisher: Banyan Proxies (https://banyanproxies.com) Rotating IPs suit page-by-page checks; sticky sessions suit a basket, a search with filters or your own account. How to set one per city, and what to do when it ends early. **Quick answer — Where can I buy sticky residential proxies by city?** Banyan Proxies sells sticky residential proxies by city on every plan: add `-session--ttl-` after the city, as in `USERNAME-country-th-city-bangkok-session-b1-ttl-20`. The IP is kept up to 30 minutes and can change earlier if the home device goes offline. Prices start at $1.88 for 1 GB (October 2026). ## How do rotating and sticky sessions differ? | Attribute | Value | | --- | --- | | Rotating | Each new connection gets an IP from the pool, usually a different one; to get a new IP on every request, send one request per connection (turn off keep-alive) | | Sticky | Sticky sessions keep the same IP for the time you set (ttl, in minutes), up to 30 minutes. The IP can change earlier, for example if the residential device goes offline | | Session ID | Letters and digits you choose, such as `b1` or `client7` | | Duration | `-ttl-` in minutes, up to 30 | | Price | Same per GB as rotating: $1.88 for 1 GB | ## When should I use a sticky session? Use one when several requests must look like one visitor: adding to a cart and reading the delivery fee, applying search filters page after page, or checking your own business account from the right city. For independent page loads, such as a list of product prices, rotating is better: each connection gets another home IP in the same city, which spreads the load. ## How do I run several cities at once? Give each city its own session IDs. A job that checks the same basket in Jakarta, Surabaya and Medan can keep three sessions open in parallel, one per city. *Python: one sticky session per city* ```python import requests HOST = "gw.banyanproxies.com" PORT = 7777 cities = ["jakarta", "surabaya", "medan"] sessions = {} for i, city in enumerate(cities, start=1): user = f"USERNAME-country-id-city-{city}-session-basket{i}-ttl-20" s = requests.Session() s.proxies = { "http": f"http://{user}:PASSWORD@{HOST}:{PORT}", "https": f"http://{user}:PASSWORD@{HOST}:{PORT}", } sessions[city] = s for city, s in sessions.items(): ip = s.get("https://api.ipify.org", timeout=30).text print(city, ip) ``` ## What if the IP changes before the time is up? A residential IP belongs to a real home connection, which can drop at any moment. Detect it by reading the exit IP at the start and at checkpoints. If it changes mid-task, restart the task with a new session ID rather than mixing two IPs in one flow. Shorter tasks and a ttl that matches the task length reduce the chance of a change. ## Where are the other settings? The [city targeting syntax](https://banyanproxies.com/targeting/city/) lists every username segment, the [docs](https://banyanproxies.com/docs/) have tested client code, and the [pricing page](https://banyanproxies.com/pricing/) shows that sticky and rotating traffic cost the same per GB. ## What else do buyers ask about sticky sessions? ### Can I keep one IP for a day? No. Sessions last up to 30 minutes, and the IP can change earlier. For a fixed IP over days, a dedicated 4G/5G port by zone is on the [pricing page](https://banyanproxies.com/pricing/). ### Does a sticky session cost more? No. You pay per GB of traffic, rotating or sticky, at the same rate. ### Can I reuse a session ID later? Once a session has ended, the same ID may return a different IP. Treat each task as a new session. --- # Proxy city checker: verify a residential IP's city before you scale > Proxy city checker method: compare two lookups, ask the target site, and fix city mismatches in Asian metro areas before you buy more traffic. Tested Python. - URL: https://banyanproxies.com/guides/verify-proxy-city/ - Last updated: 2026-10-18 - Publisher: Banyan Proxies (https://banyanproxies.com) A city IP is only useful if the target site places it in that city. This guide shows how to check, why databases disagree, and what to do about it. **Quick answer — How do I check which city a proxy IP is in?** Send a request through the proxy to two IP lookup services and compare their city, then load the target site and read the location it shows. Databases often disagree near city borders: a Navi Mumbai home can show as Thane. With Banyan Proxies, the `-city-` segment sets the city, from $1.88 for 1 GB. ## How do I check a proxy's city in four steps? 1. **Use a sticky session** — Add -session-chk1-ttl-10 so every lookup sees the same IP: USERNAME-country-ph-city-cebu_city-session-chk1-ttl-10. 2. **Ask two lookup services** — Request two public lookup endpoints through the proxy and note city, region and ASN from each. 3. **Ask the target** — Open the target's own location hint through the proxy: a marketplace's delivery area, a food app's address prompt, a search engine's location line. 4. **Decide** — If the target agrees, scale. If not, try a new session, a nearby city, or accept the region if your job allows it. ## Why do geolocation databases disagree? IP geolocation is an estimate. Databases map address blocks to places using ISP registrations, routing data and user reports. A home ISP may register a block to its regional hub, so homes across a metro area share one label. Metro areas in our region often cross administrative lines: Delhi's suburbs sit in Haryana and Uttar Pradesh, Kuala Lumpur's in Selangor, Manila's spread across 16 cities of Metro Manila. Each city page lists the nearby places you may see. ## How do I script the check? This Python script requests one sticky IP and asks two services for its location. Replace the city segment to test another city. *Python: compare two lookups for one sticky IP* ```python import requests HOST = "gw.banyanproxies.com" PORT = 7777 user = "USERNAME-country-ph-city-cebu_city-session-chk1-ttl-10" proxy = f"http://{user}:PASSWORD@{HOST}:{PORT}" proxies = {"http": proxy, "https": proxy} a = requests.get("https://ipinfo.io/json", proxies=proxies, timeout=30).json() b = requests.get("https://ipapi.co/json/", proxies=proxies, timeout=30).json() print("ipinfo:", a.get("ip"), a.get("city"), a.get("region"), a.get("org")) print("ipapi: ", b.get("ip"), b.get("city"), b.get("region"), b.get("org")) if a.get("ip") != b.get("ip"): print("The IP changed between requests: the session ended early.") ``` ## Which city mismatches are common in Asia? | You asked for | You may see | Why | | --- | --- | --- | | Delhi | Gurugram, Noida, Ghaziabad | Delhi NCR spans three states and shares networks | | Mumbai | Thane, Navi Mumbai | One metro region, labels follow ISP hubs | | Manila | Quezon City, Makati, Pasig | Metro Manila is 16 cities; databases pick one | | Kuala Lumpur | Petaling Jaya, Subang Jaya | Klang Valley homes are often registered to KL | | Jakarta | Tangerang, Bekasi, Depok | Greater Jakarta (Jabodetabek) shares networks | | Islamabad | Rawalpindi | Twin cities, side by side | | Sydney | Parramatta, Penrith | Greater Sydney suburbs have their own names | ## What should I do once the city is confirmed? Scale up with the parameter from the [city index](https://banyanproxies.com/cities/) and the [city targeting syntax](https://banyanproxies.com/targeting/city/). For multi-step checks keep one IP with [sticky sessions](https://banyanproxies.com/guides/sticky-sessions/); plans are on the [pricing page](https://banyanproxies.com/pricing/). ## What else do buyers ask about city checks? ### Which lookup is right? The one your target uses, which you usually cannot know. That is why the best test is the target's own location hint, such as a delivery area or a local results line. ### Will time zone or language give me away? Sites can read the browser's time zone and language. Set them to match the city, for example Asia/Manila and English or Filipino for Cebu City, so results are consistent. ### Does a different label mean the IP is not in the city? No. It means one database labels it differently. A Petaling Jaya home and a Kuala Lumpur home can both serve Kuala Lumpur results. Decide on the target's view, not the lookup's. ## Where do these facts come from? 1. [ipinfo.io developers](https://ipinfo.io/developers) — IPinfo 2. Account-number login, crypto, 1 GB for $1.88. - URL: https://banyanproxies.com/no-kyc/ - Last updated: 2026-10-18 - Publisher: Banyan Proxies (https://banyanproxies.com) What we ask for, what we never ask for, and the limits that still apply. **Quick answer — Can I buy city proxies without KYC in Asia?** Yes. Banyan Proxies sells residential proxies without KYC for 70 cities in 14 countries: no ID, no selfie, no documents to sign up, top up or buy. You log in with an account number, email is optional, and you pay in crypto. 1 GB costs $1.88 as of October 2026. ## What do you ask for, and what do you never ask for? | Attribute | Value | | --- | --- | | Identity documents | Never asked | | Selfie or video check | Never asked | | Name or address | Never asked | | Email | Optional, only for account recovery | | Login | Account-number login; email is optional | | Payment | Crypto only: BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC; you top up the plan price, never less than $25 | | Rules | Business uses only; Banking, government and payment-portal sites, plus SMTP (email-sending) ports 25, 465 and 587 blocked | ## Why don't you ask for ID? Because the product does not need it. A city proxy shows public web pages as they appear in that city; checking a passport adds a privacy risk for the buyer and a data store to protect for us. Many buyers prefer not to upload identity documents to a supplier, and an agency checking ads for a client should not have to send its director's passport to do so. KYC is common in this market. As of 18 October 2026, Geonode asks for a government ID or a business registration for all accounts, and Oxylabs says every customer has to answer a KYC questionnaire. IPRoyal's own pages disagree: one says all clients are verified, a help article calls verification optional. Our choice is to ask for nothing beyond payment. ## What limits still apply without KYC? - The [Acceptable Use Policy](https://banyanproxies.com/acceptable-use/) applies to every account. We may refuse or suspend service in case of abuse, fraud or a legal obligation. - The service is not available in countries and regions under comprehensive sanctions. - We do not log the content of your requests, full URLs or page data. - Your account number is your login: save it somewhere safe. Add an email (optional) if you want a way to recover it. Without an email, a lost account number cannot be recovered. ## How do I start without KYC? 1. **Create an account** — Get an account number on the client area. Add an email only if you want a recovery option. 2. **Top up the plan price** — Send the price of the plan you picked in BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC (never less than $25), the exact amount shown, then click "I've sent the payment". 3. **Get the plan** — Once the payment confirms, the plan is bought from the balance, for example 100 GB for $50. 4. **Pick a city** — Add -country-ph-city-cebu_city or any city parameter to your username. ## What else should a no-KYC buyer read? See what records exist in the [privacy policy](https://banyanproxies.com/privacy/), where the IPs come from on [sourcing](https://banyanproxies.com/sourcing/), who runs the service on [about](https://banyanproxies.com/about/), and how payment works on [buy with crypto](https://banyanproxies.com/pay-with-crypto/). Comparisons: [IPRoyal alternative](https://banyanproxies.com/alternatives/iproyal/). ## What else do buyers ask about no-KYC proxies? ### Will Banyan Proxies ask for ID later, after a big order? No KYC: no ID, no selfie, no documents to sign up, top up or buy. We may still refuse or suspend service in case of abuse, fraud or a legal obligation, as the [terms](https://banyanproxies.com/terms/) say. ### Is a no-KYC proxy legal to use? Buying a proxy without KYC is a choice of supplier, not a change in what the law allows. Your use must follow the law where you are and where the target is. The [rules by country guide](https://banyanproxies.com/guides/proxy-rules-by-country/) lists the main laws in our region. This is not legal advice. ### What if I lose my account number? Your account number is your login: save it somewhere safe. Add an email (optional) if you want a way to recover it. Without an email, a lost account number cannot be recovered. ### Do you keep my IP address? We do not log the content of your requests, full URLs or page data. To handle abuse reports and billing disputes, we keep connection metadata (time, account, exit IP, target hostname, bytes) for up to 30 days, then delete it. We keep your account number, orders, top-up records and traffic totals while your account is open, and afterwards only as long as accounting rules require. We disclose records to authorities only when the law requires it. Our upstream network provider may keep its own logs under its own policy. ## Where do these facts come from? 1. No card, no ID, no documents. **Quick answer — How do I buy city proxies with crypto?** Pick a Banyan Proxies plan, then send its price in BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC, never less than $25: 100 GB means a $50 top-up. Send the exact amount shown, on the network shown, then click "I've sent the payment". It is matched by its exact amount and credited once the network confirms it. No KYC. ## How do I pay for a plan in crypto? 1. **Top up the price of your plan ($25 at least)** — Start from a plan: the top-up is its price, or {min} if the plan costs less. Choose the coin (BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC); the crypto amount and its rate are locked for 30 minutes. 2. **Send it to the address shown, on the exact network** — The payment page shows our deposit address for the coin and network you picked: BTC on Bitcoin, USDT on Tron (TRC-20) or Ethereum (ERC-20), USDC on Ethereum (ERC-20), ETH on Ethereum, SOL on Solana, LTC on Litecoin. Send only that coin on that network: funds sent on another network or in another coin can’t be recovered. The network fee comes on top of the amount. 3. **Send the exact amount shown, then click “I’ve sent the payment”** — Each top-up has its own exact amount (down to the last decimals): that is how we find your payment and link it to your account. 4. **Credited once your payment is checked on the blockchain** — Your balance is credited once we have checked the transaction on the blockchain, after the network has confirmed it. Typical network confirmation times: 5. **One balance for every product** — If you started from a plan, the top-up is its exact price (or the minimum, for a smaller plan): the plan is bought as soon as the top-up is credited, and your proxies are delivered. What is left stays on your balance: use it for any product — residential, dedicated 4G/5G ports or rotating mobile — paid instantly. Unused balance stays on your account and never expires. When a purchase costs less than the minimum top-up, the part added only to reach the minimum is refundable on request to support within 30 days of the payment, in USDT or USDC, as long as it has not been spent. The rest of the balance is not paid back, except where the law requires it. | Crypto | Network | Confirmations | Usual time | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Bitcoin (BTC) | Bitcoin | 2 | ≈ 20 min | | Tether (USDT) | Tron (TRC-20) | 20 | ≈ 1 min | | Tether (USDT) | Ethereum (ERC-20) | 12 | ≈ 5 min | | USD Coin (USDC) | Ethereum (ERC-20) | 12 | ≈ 5 min | | Ethereum (ETH) | Ethereum | 12 | ≈ 5 min | | Solana (SOL) | Solana | 1 | ≈ 1 min | | Litecoin (LTC) | Litecoin | 6 | ≈ 15 min | Closed the tab? The pending top-up stays under Billing in your account: open it to see the address and the exact amount again. ## Which coin should I use? Pick the one you hold, then think about the network fee and the time to confirm. - **USDT on TRC-20** keeps the amount stable in dollars. - **USDT or USDC on ERC-20** suit wallets on Ethereum; network fees can be higher. - **BTC** is widely held; it needs network confirmations before the credit. - **SOL and LTC** are also accepted; the payment page shows the usual confirmation time of each network. Whatever the coin, send it on the network the payment page shows. Coins sent on another network may be lost. ## What if I send the wrong amount? The payment is matched by its exact amount, so send exactly what the page shows. If you sent a different amount, or the payment window expired, write to support@banyanproxies.com with the transaction ID, the coin, the network and the amount, so support can look into it. ## Which coins are accepted? - Bitcoin (BTC) - Tether (USDT) — TRC-20 or ERC-20 - USD Coin (USDC) — ERC-20 - Ethereum (ETH) - Solana (SOL) - Litecoin (LTC) ## What else should I check before paying? Plans and prices are on the [pricing page](https://banyanproxies.com/pricing/), the [refund policy](https://banyanproxies.com/refunds/) explains credits to your balance, the [terms of service](https://banyanproxies.com/terms/) cover the balance, and [city proxies without KYC](https://banyanproxies.com/no-kyc/) explains what we never ask for. ## What else do buyers ask about paying in crypto? ### Can I pay by card or PayPal? No. Banyan Proxies accepts crypto only: BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC. ### Is there a minimum? Yes: a top-up is never less than $25. For a plan that costs more, you send the plan price, for example $50 for 100 GB. Anything left stays on your balance. ### Can I pay from an exchange? Yes, as long as the exchange sends the exact amount on the right network. Some exchanges deduct a fee from the amount sent; add it so the amount received matches. ### Do you accept Monero? No. The accepted coins are BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC. --- # City proxy price per GB in Asia and Oceania > Banyan Proxies pricing: city residential proxies $1.88 for 1 GB, $5.94 for 10 GB, $500 for 1 TB. Each tier follows a dated public reference, listed in the [price index](https://banyanproxies.com/research/asia-city-proxy-price-index-2026/); the [city targeting surcharge comparison](https://banyanproxies.com/compare/city-targeting-surcharges/) shows why we compare city-rate prices, and the [DataImpulse](https://banyanproxies.com/alternatives/dataimpulse/) and [IPRoyal](https://banyanproxies.com/alternatives/iproyal/) pages compare one provider at a time. If a plan does not work, the [refund policy](https://banyanproxies.com/refunds/) applies. Every price covers all [residential proxies by city](https://banyanproxies.com/residential-proxies/); paying is explained on [buy with crypto](https://banyanproxies.com/pay-with-crypto/), and remaining questions are in the [FAQ](https://banyanproxies.com/faq/). ## What else do buyers ask about prices? ### Is the price the same for every city? Yes. A GB costs the same in Sydney, Karachi or Hanoi, and city targeting adds nothing. $1.88 buys 1 GB; $500 buys 1 TB ($0.50/GB), as of October 2026. ### Do unused GB expire? Prepaid residential and rotating-mobile traffic never expires: unused GB stay on your account until you use them. Unused balance also stays on the account. ### How is traffic counted? Usage counts all data sent and received through the proxy (upload and download, headers included). 1 GB = 1,000,000,000 bytes. Connection attempts that fail before reaching the target are not counted. ### Is there a free trial? No free trial: test with the 1 GB plan, paid from the minimum top-up; the rest of the top-up stays on your balance. ### Why is 1 TB not cheaper per GB than 100 GB? From 100 GB our tiers sit on our minimum price, $0.50/GB, which covers the wholesale cost of traffic and payment handling. We do not sell below it, so 100 GB, 500 GB and 1 TB share the same rate. ### What is the refund policy? ## Where do these facts come from? 1. Last changed on 18 October 2026. **Quick answer — What does Banyan Proxies keep about me?** Banyan Proxies keeps your account number, optional email, payment and order records, and connection metadata (time, account, exit IP, target hostname, bytes) for up to 30 days for abuse handling. It never logs request content or full URLs, and never collects ID documents, selfies or a legal name. ## Who is responsible for these records? ProxyGoat LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (USA), which runs Banyan Proxies. Questions about your data go to support@banyanproxies.com. ## Which records exist? | Record | What it contains | Why | How long | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Account | Account number, optional email, settings, sub-users | To run the account and let you log in | While the account is open | | Payments | Coin, network, amount, transaction ID, date | To credit top-ups and keep accounts | While the account is open, then as long as accounting rules require | | Orders and usage | Plans bought, traffic totals per plan and per sub-user | Billing and support | While the account is open, then as long as accounting rules require | | Connection metadata | Time, account, exit IP, target hostname, bytes | Abuse reports and billing disputes | Up to 30 days, then deleted | | Support emails | What you write to us | To answer you | Up to 12 months after the last message | ## What do you never record? - The content of your requests and the pages you receive. - Full URLs: plain-HTTP addresses are cut to the hostname before anything is logged. - Identity documents, selfies or a legal name: we do not ask for them. - Card or bank details: we only accept crypto. ## Who else can see anything? Our upstream network provider carries your traffic and may keep its own logs under its own policy. The blockchain is public: anyone can see a payment on it, though not which account it credited. We disclose records to authorities only when the law requires it. We do not sell data and do not use advertising trackers. ## Does the site use cookies? The public site sets no tracking cookies. The client area at `/app/` uses one session cookie to keep you logged in, and the site may remember your language choice in your browser's local storage. ## What are my rights? You can ask for a copy of your records, a correction, or deletion of your account by writing to support@banyanproxies.com from the account email, or through the client area. Deleting an account removes its balance and unused traffic. Payment records that accounting rules require us to keep are kept for that period only. Depending on where you live, a data protection law may give you more rights; the [rules by country guide](https://banyanproxies.com/guides/proxy-rules-by-country/) lists the main laws in our region. ## How are records secured, and how does this policy change? Access to records is limited to staff who need it, over encrypted connections. The service is not meant for children. Changes to this policy are dated here and listed on the [changelog](https://banyanproxies.com/changelog/). ## Which policies go with this one? The [terms of service](https://banyanproxies.com/terms/), the [Acceptable Use Policy](https://banyanproxies.com/acceptable-use/) and [where our IPs come from](https://banyanproxies.com/sourcing/) complete this policy. Requests go through the [contact page](https://banyanproxies.com/contact/). --- # Banyan Proxies refund policy > Banyan Proxies refunds: a plan is credited back within 72 hours if under 20% and at most 1 GB was used; ports within 24 hours. Last changed on 18 October 2026. **Quick answer — Can I get a refund from Banyan Proxies?** Within 72 hours, a residential or rotating-mobile plan is credited back to your Banyan Proxies balance if you used under 20% of it and no more than 1 GB. A plan support cannot fix within 24 hours is credited in full. Dedicated ports have their own 24-hour rules below. Top-ups are not paid back, except where the law requires it; the part added only to reach the $25 minimum is refundable on request within 30 days, in USDT or USDC, if unspent. ## Which cases are covered? | Situation | Window | What you get | | --- | --- | --- | | Residential or rotating-mobile plan, under 20% used and no more than 1 GB | 72 hours after purchase | The plan price back to your balance | | Plan that does not work and support cannot fix | Support has 24 hours to fix it | The full plan price back to your balance | | Dedicated port that does not work and cannot be fixed or replaced | 24 hours after delivery (2 hours for a 1-day port) | The full port price back to your balance | | Dedicated port that carried less than 500 MB | 24 hours after delivery (2 hours for a 1-day port) | The full port price back to your balance | | Port not delivered within 24 hours | Automatic case, no request window | The full port price back to your balance | | Port that stops working later | Support has 24 hours to fix it | The lost days back to your balance | ## How do I ask for a credit? 1. **Write to support** — Email support@banyanproxies.com from the account email, or use the client area, within the window above. 2. **Say what failed** — Give the plan or port, the target and city you used, and what you saw (error code, wrong location, no connection). 3. **Let us test** — Support tries to fix the problem first. A fix within 24 hours closes the case. 4. **Get the credit** — If the case is covered, the amount goes back to your balance and you can buy another plan with it. ## Where does the credit go? Credits go to your Banyan Proxies balance, not back to a wallet: a crypto payment cannot be reversed, and sending coins back would need an address you control and a fresh network fee. ## What is not paid back? Top-ups are credited to your balance and are not paid back, except where the law requires it; the part added only to reach the $25 minimum is refundable on request within 30 days, in USDT or USDC, if unspent. Traffic used on targets that block proxies, or a city that geolocation databases label differently, is not a fault of the plan; test with the 1 GB plan first. Accounts closed for a breach of the [Acceptable Use Policy](https://banyanproxies.com/acceptable-use/) lose their balance. ## Where do I ask, and which terms apply? Ask through the [contact page](https://banyanproxies.com/contact/). At 1 GB, the range was $2.50 to $7.35. DataImpulse bills city traffic at double its $1 base rate. Banyan Proxies charges $1.88 for 1 GB, city included. ## What are the key figures in October 2026? - **8** providers read on 18 October 2026 - **7 of 8** include city targeting at no stated surcharge - **2×** DataImpulse rate for city-targeted traffic - **4 of 8** sell monthly plans whose traffic resets or rolls over only while subscribed ## How much does a city-targeted GB cost by volume? Public self-service prices in USD, before tax, read on each provider's own page on 18 October 2026. Where a provider bills city targeting extra, the city rate is shown. "—" means the volume is not sold or not published. | Provider | Model | 1 GB | 10 GB | 50 GB | 100 GB | 1 TB | | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Banyan Proxies | Prepaid, never expires | $1.88/GB | $0.59/GB | $0.52/GB | $0.50/GB | $0.50/GB | | DataImpulse (city rate) | Prepaid, never expires | — (5 GB minimum) | $2.00 | $2.00 | $2.00 | $1.60 | | ProxyWing | Prepaid, never expires | $2.50 | $2.13 | $2.00 | $1.88 | $1.50 | | Rayobyte | Prepaid, never expires | $3.50 | $3.50 | $2.00 | $2.00 | $0.70 | | Geonode | Monthly, rolls over until cancelled | — | $0.79 | $0.69 | $0.65 | $0.50 | | Webshare | Monthly, resets | $3.50 | $2.75 | $2.45 | $2.25 | $1.50 | | Decodo | Monthly plans; pay-as-you-go at 1 GB | $4.00 | $3.50 | $3.00 | $2.75 | $2.00 | | Oxylabs | Monthly | $6.00 | $5.00 | $4.00 | $4.00 | $2.50 | | IPRoyal | Prepaid, never expires | $7.35 | $5.51 | — | — | — | *Prices checked on October 18, 2026.* Webshare figures are its discounted prices (list price $7.00/GB). Geonode's 10 GB plan shows $7.92 in its tier list and $8.80 in a comparison table on the same page. DataImpulse's base rate is $1.00/GB ($0.80 at 1 TB); its documentation says city traffic is billed at double the standard rate. IPRoyal publishes no residential price between 10 GB and 10 TB. ## Which conditions change the real price? | Provider | City targeting | Traffic expiry | KYC | Crypto | | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Banyan Proxies | Included | Never expires | None | Yes | | DataImpulse | Double rate | Never expires | On suspicion; resellers | Yes | | ProxyWing | Included, "no surcharge" | Never expires | "No KYC, instant start" | Yes | | Rayobyte | Included | Never expires (pay-as-you-go) | On unusual use | Not stated | | Geonode | "When matching IPs are available" | Rolls over until cancelled | ID or business registration for all accounts | Not stated | | Webshare | Included | Monthly reset, no rollover | For restricted sites or on suspicion | No | | Decodo | Included, "at no extra charge" | End of billing cycle | Not stated on pricing pages | Yes | | Oxylabs | Included | Monthly plan | KYC questionnaire for every customer | Not stated | | IPRoyal | Included | Never expires | Conflicting statements | Yes | ## Does city targeting usually cost extra? Seven of the eight providers state city targeting as part of their residential plans with no surcharge. DataImpulse is the exception: its documentation says traffic using the city parameter "is billed at double the standard rate", so its $1.00/GB base becomes $2.00/GB for city work. Its docs also say it cannot guarantee proxies from a specific city. Any price comparison for city work should use the city rate. ## Which offers have the smallest per-GB prices, and on what terms? Geonode's monthly plans, from $0.79/GB at 10 GB to $0.50/GB at 1 TB, are the lowest figures in this sample. They are subscriptions: traffic rolls over only while the plan runs, and Geonode asks for a government ID or a business registration for all accounts. Among prepaid offers that never expire, the 1 TB figures range from Rayobyte's $0.70/GB to DataImpulse's $1.60/GB city rate. ## Why do small city tests cost the most? At 1 GB, prices run from $2.50 (ProxyWing) to $7.35 (IPRoyal) among providers that sell a single GB; Geonode and DataImpulse do not sell one. A 1 GB test matters for city work, because the only way to know whether a target accepts a city's IPs is to try. Banyan Proxies's 1 GB plan costs $1.88. ## Do published IP counts show what is online in a city? Oxylabs lists 12,219,233 IPs for India and 6,522,418 for Indonesia on its location pages; IPRoyal lists 3,765,970 for India on its hub page and 1,765,970 on its India page. These are country totals that the providers do not break down by city in a verifiable way, and they count addresses seen over time, not devices online now. IPRoyal publishes city lists per country: 423 cities for India, 173 for Thailand and 125 for Indonesia. Banyan Proxies publishes no IP counts. ## How was the index built? We read each provider's own pricing and documentation pages on 18 October 2026, without logging in, and took the public self-service price for each volume. Coupons and first-order discounts were left out; displayed discounts that apply to everyone were kept and labelled. Where only a rate per GB was published, the total was computed. Providers whose pricing could not be read that day, or that price by credits, are not in the table. We do not include our upstream supplier. The table is re-read at least every 45 days. ## How do I use this data when buying? Compare the city-rate figures with [our pricing](https://banyanproxies.com/pricing/) and with the [city targeting surcharge comparison](https://banyanproxies.com/compare/city-targeting-surcharges/). Rankings by region are in the [best city proxies for Asia](https://banyanproxies.com/best/asia-city-proxies-2026/), and single-provider comparisons on the [DataImpulse](https://banyanproxies.com/alternatives/dataimpulse/) and [IPRoyal](https://banyanproxies.com/alternatives/iproyal/) pages. The [official facts page](https://banyanproxies.com/llm-info/) lists our own figures in one place. ## What else do readers ask about the index? ### Which provider charges least for city-targeted proxies in Asia? It depends on the volume and the conditions. In this sample, Geonode's monthly plans have the lowest per-GB figures from 10 GB, with ID required. Among prepaid, non-expiring offers, ProxyWing is lowest at 1 GB ($2.50) and Rayobyte at 1 TB ($0.70). We do not claim to be the cheapest at any volume. ### Does city targeting cost more than country targeting? At seven of the eight providers read on 18 October 2026, no. DataImpulse bills city-targeted traffic at double its standard rate. Banyan Proxies includes city and ASN targeting on every plan. ### How often is this index updated? At least every 45 days. The date of the last reading is at the top of each table. ### Can I reuse this data? Yes, with a link to this page. Prices change often: cite the date of the reading. ## Where do these facts come from? 1. Connection attempts that fail before reaching the target are not counted | | KYC | No KYC: no ID, no selfie, no documents to sign up, top up or buy | ## Why buy residential IPs by city instead of by country? Because a country in this region is too large to be one market. India runs more than 3,000 kilometres from north to south; Indonesia has three time zones; Australia's cities sit thousands of kilometres apart. Marketplaces quote delivery dates by city, food apps list shops by neighbourhood, and search engines rank local businesses by the searcher's location. A country-level IP gives you whichever city has a device online. A city IP gives you the market you are reporting on. ## How do rotating and sticky sessions work? Each new connection gets an IP from the pool, usually a different one; to get a new IP on every request, send one request per connection (turn off keep-alive). Sticky sessions keep the same IP for the time you set (ttl, in minutes), up to 30 minutes. The IP can change earlier, for example if the residential device goes offline. - Rotating: `USERNAME-country-th-city-bangkok`, a new Bangkok IP on each connection, for price checks across many pages. - Sticky: `USERNAME-country-th-city-bangkok-session-bkk7-ttl-15`, one IP for up to 15 minutes, for a basket, a login to your own account or a multi-step form. The [sticky sessions guide](https://banyanproxies.com/guides/sticky-sessions/) explains session IDs and what to do when a home device goes offline. ## Which cities are documented in each country? | Country | Cities with a page | Example parameter | | --- | --- | --- | | [India](https://banyanproxies.com/cities/india/) | Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai and 9 more | `-country-in-city-chennai` | | [Indonesia](https://banyanproxies.com/cities/indonesia/) | Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, Medan and more | `-country-id-city-bandung` | | [Philippines](https://banyanproxies.com/cities/philippines/) | Manila, Quezon City, Makati, Cebu City, Davao City | `-country-ph-city-davao_city` | | [Vietnam](https://banyanproxies.com/cities/vietnam/) | Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Da Nang and more | `-country-vn-city-da_nang` | | [Thailand](https://banyanproxies.com/cities/thailand/) | Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket and more | `-country-th-city-phuket` | | [Malaysia](https://banyanproxies.com/cities/malaysia/) | Kuala Lumpur, George Town, Johor Bahru and more | `-country-my-city-johor_bahru` | | [Pakistan](https://banyanproxies.com/cities/pakistan/) | Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and more | `-country-pk-city-karachi` | | [Bangladesh](https://banyanproxies.com/cities/bangladesh/), [Sri Lanka](https://banyanproxies.com/cities/sri-lanka/), [Nepal](https://banyanproxies.com/cities/nepal/), [Cambodia](https://banyanproxies.com/cities/cambodia/) | Dhaka, Colombo, Kathmandu, Phnom Penh and more | `-country-bd-city-dhaka` | | [Singapore](https://banyanproxies.com/cities/singapore/) | Singapore | `-country-sg-city-singapore` | | [Australia](https://banyanproxies.com/cities/australia/), [New Zealand](https://banyanproxies.com/cities/new-zealand/) | Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Auckland and more | `-country-nz-city-wellington` | Full list on the [city index](https://banyanproxies.com/cities/). ## Which residential plan should I buy? Short answers are in the [FAQ](https://banyanproxies.com/faq/). ## What else do buyers ask about residential proxies? ### Are these real home IPs? Yes: residential IPs are addresses that home ISPs assign to their subscribers, such as Jio, PLDT, Viettel or Telstra customers. We resell residential and mobile IPs from established upstream partner networks. Our upstream provider confirms that device owners opt in and can opt out, and that its supply does not come from seized or disrupted networks such as NetNut or IPIDEA. ### How many IPs do you have in each city? We do not publish city counts, because the number of devices online changes through the day and we cannot verify it. City availability varies; the checkout shows what is online. Test a city on the 1 GB plan first. ### Can I use these proxies in a browser? Yes. Any browser or tool that supports an HTTP or SOCKS5 proxy with a username and password works. The [getting started guide](https://banyanproxies.com/guides/getting-started/) covers browsers, curl and code. ### What is blocked? Banking, government and payment-portal sites, plus SMTP (email-sending) ports 25, 465 and 587. The [Acceptable Use Policy](https://banyanproxies.com/acceptable-use/) lists what is not allowed. ### Do you sell static or datacenter proxies? No. Residential traffic rotates, or stays on one IP up to 30 minutes (the IP can change earlier). For a fixed carrier IP, dedicated 4G/5G ports are on the [pricing page](https://banyanproxies.com/pricing/). **Choose a city, then a plan** $1.88 for 1 GB. No KYC — no ID, no selfie, no documents. Our upstream provider confirms that device owners opt in and can opt out, and that its supply does not come from seized or disrupted networks such as NetNut or IPIDEA. City availability varies; the checkout shows what is online. ## What does our sourcing look like in brief? | Attribute | Value | | --- | --- | | Model | Reseller of established upstream partner networks | | Device owners | Opt in and can opt out, as confirmed by our upstream provider | | Excluded supply | Seized or disrupted networks such as NetNut or IPIDEA, as confirmed by our upstream provider | | IP counts | Not published: availability changes by the hour and by city | | Mobile ports | Dedicated ports are subject to stock per country and carrier; the checkout lists the carriers in stock. If we cannot deliver your port within 24 hours, its full price goes back to your balance | ## What does our upstream provider confirm? Our upstream provider confirms that device owners opt in and can opt out, and that its supply does not come from seized or disrupted networks such as NetNut or IPIDEA. We do not name the provider: that is a commercial agreement, and the name would tell a buyer nothing they could check. ## What can no reseller check by itself? A reseller sees exit IPs and traffic, not the phones and routers behind them. It cannot audit each device owner's consent screen or count the devices online in a given city at a given minute. That is why we do not publish city IP counts, and why our pages say "city availability varies" rather than promising a pool size. ## Why does supply differ between cities? Residential IPs exist where people use the apps that carry the opt-in. Large cities with many home broadband lines, such as Mumbai, Jakarta or Sydney, usually have more devices online than smaller cities like Kandy or Siem Reap. Time of day matters too: a home in Manila at 4 a.m. local time is less likely to be online than at 8 p.m. That is why each city page tells you to check the exit city before a large job. ## Which six questions should I ask any proxy seller? | Question | Our answer | | --- | --- | | Who owns the devices, and did they agree? | Device owners opt in and can opt out, as our upstream provider confirms | | Is any supply from seized networks? | Our upstream provider confirms it is not, naming NetNut and IPIDEA | | Do you publish IP counts per city? | No: they change by the hour, and we cannot check them | | What do you log? | Connection metadata for up to 30 days; never content or full URLs | | What is blocked? | Banking, government and payment-portal sites, plus SMTP (email-sending) ports 25, 465 and 587 | | Who handles abuse reports? | A person, at abuse@banyanproxies.com | ## Which policies cover the IPs you sell? The [Acceptable Use Policy](https://banyanproxies.com/acceptable-use/) lists what is blocked, the [privacy policy](https://banyanproxies.com/privacy/) what we log, and [about](https://banyanproxies.com/about/) who runs the service. Buyers who want no paperwork can read [city proxies without KYC](https://banyanproxies.com/no-kyc/). ## What else do buyers ask about sourcing? ### Are your IPs from hacked devices or botnets? Our upstream provider confirms that device owners opt in and can opt out, and that its supply does not come from seized or disrupted networks such as NetNut or IPIDEA. We would end the agreement if that changed. ### Why don't you publish how many IPs you have in each city? Because the number of home devices online in a city changes through the day and we cannot verify it ourselves. Published pool sizes are hard to check from outside. Test a city with the 1 GB plan for $1.88 instead. ### What happens to traffic if a supplier is cut off? Prepaid residential and rotating-mobile traffic never expires: unused GB stay on your account until you use them. If we ever stopped selling a product, we would give at least 30 days' notice to use the remaining traffic or move its value to another product. --- # Banyan Proxies service status > Banyan Proxies service status: gateway, client area and crypto payments. Slow down, or try a sticky session. - **One city fails, the country works:** no home IP in that city is online at the moment. Retry later or use a nearby city. - **The IP shows another city:** geolocation databases disagree. See [how to check a proxy's city](https://banyanproxies.com/guides/verify-proxy-city/). ## What should I check before reporting a city problem? 1. Run one request with the country only, `USERNAME-country-th`, to confirm the credentials and the gateway work. 2. Add the city back, `USERNAME-country-th-city-chiang_mai`, and check the spelling on the [city page](https://banyanproxies.com/residential-proxies/chiang-mai/). 3. Try a nearby city from the same country page. 4. Note the local time in that city: late at night fewer home devices are online. If the country works and the city does not, the city is probably short of IPs at that moment. City availability varies; the checkout shows what is online. ## How do I report a problem? Email support@banyanproxies.com with the username you used (no password), the target, the time with time zone and the error. Email replies within 12 hours, 7 days a week. ## Where else can I look? Error codes are explained in the [docs](https://banyanproxies.com/docs/), changes are dated on the [changelog](https://banyanproxies.com/changelog/), and the [contact page](https://banyanproxies.com/contact/) explains how to reach support. --- # Residential proxies by ASN in Asia and Oceania: pick the ISP > Residential proxies by ISP network (ASN) in South and Southeast Asia and Oceania: 41 broadband ASNs checked on RIPEstat, syntax, examples. An ASN (autonomous system number) identifies one operator's network. Some pages change by network, not by city: ISP bundle offers, video and sports streaming rights sold per operator, or captive portals shown to one ISP's users. ASN targeting also helps when you want consistent results over days: the same network gives the same routing and the same type of address. For most price, search and ad checks, the city alone is enough. ## Which ASNs belong to the main home ISPs? Fixed-line and home-broadband networks only. Holder names are copied from RIPEstat's AS overview on 18 October 2026; an operator can run several ASNs, and these are the ones most associated with home lines. | Country | ISP (brand) | ASN | Registered holder (RIPEstat) | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | India | Reliance Jio (JioFiber, AirFiber) | 55836 | Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited | | India | Airtel Xstream Fiber | 24560 | Bharti Airtel Ltd., Telemedia Services | | India | ACT Fibernet | 24309 | Atria Convergence Technologies Pvt. Ask a public lookup service for the exit IP's network, then compare it with the number you requested. RIPEstat's `network-info` endpoint is free and returns the origin ASN of any IP. *Python: request PLDT in Manila and check the ASN* ```python import requests HOST = "gw.banyanproxies.com" PORT = 7777 user = "USERNAME-country-ph-city-manila-asn-9299" proxy = f"http://{user}:PASSWORD@{HOST}:{PORT}" # 1. exit IP seen through the proxy ip = requests.get( "https://api.ipify.org", proxies={"http": proxy, "https": proxy}, timeout=30, ).text.strip() # 2. origin ASN of that IP, from RIPEstat (direct request, no proxy) info = requests.get( "https://stat.ripe.net/data/network-info/data.json", params={"resource": ip}, timeout=30, ).json() print(ip, "AS" + ",".join(info["data"]["asns"])) ``` ## How do I combine ASN with a city? Add the ASN after the city segment, as the [city targeting syntax](https://banyanproxies.com/targeting/city/) shows. Each city page, reachable from the [city index](https://banyanproxies.com/cities/), lists the ISPs found there. ASN targeting is included in every plan on the [pricing page](https://banyanproxies.com/pricing/). ## What else do buyers ask about ASN targeting? ### Does ASN targeting cost more? No. ASN targeting is at no extra cost on every Banyan Proxies plan, as is city targeting. Some providers bill it separately: DataImpulse documents double the standard rate for city, state, ZIP and ASN parameters (read 18 October 2026). ### Why does my Jio request sometimes fail in a small city? Combining a city and an ASN asks for homes that match both. In a smaller city one network may have no device online at a given moment. Drop the city or the ASN, or retry later. ### Can I target a mobile carrier's ASN with residential traffic? Residential traffic comes from home connections. Some home routers use a carrier's fixed-wireless service, such as Jio AirFiber, so a carrier ASN can appear. For dedicated carrier IPs, the [pricing page](https://banyanproxies.com/pricing/) lists 4G/5G ports by zone. ### Where do the holder names come from? From RIPEstat's public AS overview, read on 18 October 2026. Holder names are the registered names, which can differ from the brand customers know. ## Where do these facts come from? 1. [RIPEstat AS overview (one query per ASN in the table)](https://stat.ripe.net/docs/data-api/api-endpoints/as-overview) — RIPE NCC (2026-10-18) 2. This page gives the exact format, tested examples in curl, Python and Node.js, and what to do when a city has no IP online. **Quick answer — How do I get a proxy with a specific city IP in Asia?** With Banyan Proxies, add `-city-` and the city name to the proxy username after the country, for example `USERNAME-country-in-city-mumbai` or `USERNAME-country-ph-city-cebu_city`. City targeting is part of every plan at no surcharge, from $1.88 for 1 GB (October 2026). City availability varies; the checkout shows what is online. No KYC, crypto only. ## What does city targeting include? | Attribute | Value | | --- | --- | | Targeting levels | Country and city targeting on every plan; ASN targeting at no extra cost. City availability varies | | Username format | `USERNAME-country-{cc}-city-{city}-asn-{asn}-session-{id}-ttl-{minutes}` | | City names | Lowercase English name, underscores for spaces: `kuala_lumpur`, `ho_chi_minh_city`, `gold_coast` | | Included on | Every residential plan, from 1 GB at $1.88 | | Gateway | `gw.banyanproxies.com`, port 7777 (HTTP/HTTPS) or 7778 (SOCKS5) | | Sticky sessions | up to 30 minutes (the IP can change earlier) | | Availability | City availability varies; the checkout shows what is online | | Updated | 18 October 2026 | ## How is the city username built? The username is a chain of segments joined by hyphens. The full format is `USERNAME-country-{cc}-city-{city}-asn-{asn}-session-{id}-ttl-{minutes}`; use only the segments you need, in that order. - `USERNAME-country-in-city-bengaluru`: any home IP in Bengaluru, a new one on each connection. - `USERNAME-country-id-city-surabaya`: Surabaya, East Java. - `USERNAME-country-vn-city-ho_chi_minh_city`: Ho Chi Minh City; spaces become underscores. - `USERNAME-country-au-city-gold_coast-session-gc1-ttl-15`: one Gold Coast IP kept for 15 minutes. - `USERNAME-country-pk-city-lahore-asn-17557`: Lahore on PTCL's network (AS17557). The country code is the two-letter ISO code in lowercase. Always send the country with the city: Hyderabad exists in India and in Pakistan, and `country-pk-city-hyderabad` is not the same place as `country-in-city-hyderabad`. ## How do I write cities with two names or accents? Use the plain English name without accents, as shown on each city page: `bengaluru`, `chattogram`, `george_town`. Some cities also have an older name, such as Bangalore or Chittagong. If the spelling on the page returns no IP while the country works, try the older name and tell support, so we can correct the page. The [city index](https://banyanproxies.com/cities/) lists every spelling we publish. ## How do I test a city IP with curl, Python and Node.js? Send one request through the gateway and print the exit IP and the place your lookup service reports. Use a lookup service you are allowed to call; the examples use ipinfo.io's public endpoint. *curl: a rotating and a sticky Jakarta IP* ```bash # Rotating Jakarta IP over HTTP curl -x http://gw.banyanproxies.com:7777 \ -U "USERNAME-country-id-city-jakarta:PASSWORD" \ https://ipinfo.io/json # One Jakarta IP kept for 10 minutes, over SOCKS5 curl --socks5-hostname gw.banyanproxies.com:7778 \ -U "USERNAME-country-id-city-jakarta-session-jkt1-ttl-10:PASSWORD" \ https://ipinfo.io/json ``` *Python (requests): one request per city* ```python import requests HOST = "gw.banyanproxies.com" PORT = 7777 cities = { "in": "mumbai", "th": "chiang_mai", "au": "perth", } for country, city in cities.items(): user = f"USERNAME-country-{country}-city-{city}" proxy = f"http://{user}:PASSWORD@{HOST}:{PORT}" try: r = requests.get( "https://ipinfo.io/json", proxies={"http": proxy, "https": proxy}, timeout=30, ) info = r.json() print(city, info.get("ip"), info.get("city"), info.get("region")) except requests.RequestException as exc: print(city, "failed:", exc) ``` *Node.js 18+ (undici ProxyAgent): one Manila IP* ```javascript // npm install undici const { ProxyAgent, fetch } = require("undici"); const user = "USERNAME-country-ph-city-manila"; const token = Buffer.from(`${user}:PASSWORD`).toString("base64"); const agent = new ProxyAgent({ uri: "http://gw.banyanproxies.com:7777", token: `Basic ${token}`, }); fetch("https://ipinfo.io/json", { dispatcher: agent }) .then((res) => res.json()) .then((info) => console.log(info.ip, info.city, info.region)) .catch((err) => console.error("failed:", err.message)); ``` ## What happens when no IP is online in a city? A small city may have few or no home devices online at a given moment. Always check the exit city of the IP you receive, then: 1. Retry after a few minutes: home devices go on and off line through the day. 2. Use a nearby city from the same page, for example Rawalpindi for Islamabad. 3. Drop the `-city-` segment and keep the country, if the job allows it. City availability varies; the checkout shows what is online. ## Will every website see the city I asked for? Not always. Websites place an IP with their own geolocation database, and databases disagree, especially near city borders: a Gurugram home may show as Delhi, a Petaling Jaya home as Kuala Lumpur. The [city check guide](https://banyanproxies.com/guides/verify-proxy-city/) shows how to test the database your target uses before a large job. ## Which cities can I target? Set sessions with the [sticky residential proxies guide](https://banyanproxies.com/guides/sticky-sessions/), copy client code from the [docs](https://banyanproxies.com/docs/), and look up terms such as ASN or CGNAT in the [glossary](https://banyanproxies.com/glossary/). Every other guide is listed on the [guides page](https://banyanproxies.com/guides/). ## What else do buyers ask about city targeting? ### Does city targeting cost extra? No. City targeting is included on every Banyan Proxies residential plan, from $1.88 for 1 GB to $0.50/GB on 1 TB. By comparison, DataImpulse documents that city-targeted traffic is billed at double its standard rate (read on 18 October 2026). ### Can I target a postcode or a district? No. Targeting stops at the city. Postcodes are still useful inside the target site, for example to set a delivery address on a marketplace after the page loads from the right city. ### Can I combine city and ASN? Yes: `USERNAME-country-my-city-kuala_lumpur-asn-4788` asks for a Kuala Lumpur IP on TM's network. Each filter shrinks the set of matching IPs, so test before you scale. See [ASN targeting](https://banyanproxies.com/targeting/asn/). ### How long can I keep one city IP? Sticky sessions keep the same IP for the time you set (ttl, in minutes), up to 30 minutes. The IP can change earlier, for example if the residential device goes offline. Add `-session--ttl-` after the city segment. ### Is there a city that you do not cover? Only the 70 cities with a page are documented, but the parameter accepts other cities in the same 14 countries. City availability varies; the checkout shows what is online. East Asia and mainland China are not covered. **Pick a city, pay in crypto** City targeting on every plan from $1.88. No KYC: no ID, no selfie, no documents. You pay in crypto through a prepaid balance, with no identity documents. You must follow the [Acceptable Use Policy](https://banyanproxies.com/acceptable-use/). We may suspend accounts for abuse, fraud or a legal obligation. Delaware law governs these terms. ## Who runs the service? Banyan Proxies is a trading name of ProxyGoat LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (USA). The team has been in the proxy business since 2019. In these terms, "we" means that company and "you" means the person or business holding the account. Contact: support@banyanproxies.com; abuse reports: abuse@banyanproxies.com. ## Who can open an account? Anyone of legal age who accepts these terms and the [Acceptable Use Policy](https://banyanproxies.com/acceptable-use/) can open an account. No KYC: no ID, no selfie, no documents to sign up, top up or buy. The service is not available in countries and regions under comprehensive sanctions, and we block sign-up and checkout from them. If you act for a company, you confirm you may bind it. ## What do I buy? - **Residential traffic**, sold in GB, with country and city targeting on every plan and ASN targeting at no extra cost. City availability varies; the checkout shows what is online. We do not promise that a given city, network or number of IPs is online at a given time. - **Rotating mobile traffic**, sold in GB, with country-level targeting. - **Dedicated 4G/5G ports**, sold by the day, subject to stock per country and carrier. Prices are those on the [pricing page](https://banyanproxies.com/pricing/) at the moment you buy. A price change never affects traffic you have already bought. ## How does the account work? Your account number is your login: save it somewhere safe. Add an email (optional) if you want a way to recover it. Without an email, a lost account number cannot be recovered. Keep your credentials private: anything done with them counts as done by you. We never ask for your account number by email or chat. ## How do payment and the balance work? You pay into a prepaid balance in crypto: the price of the plan you order, never less than $25, and the plan is bought from that balance. Send the exact amount shown on the payment page, on the network shown, then click "I've sent the payment". The payment is matched by its exact amount and credited once the network has confirmed it. The [refund policy](https://banyanproxies.com/refunds/) sets out when a plan is credited back. ## Does traffic expire? Prepaid residential and rotating-mobile traffic never expires: unused GB stay on your account until you use them. Unused traffic is lost if you delete your account or if it is closed for a breach of these terms. If we stop selling a product, we give at least 30 days' notice to use the remaining traffic or move its value to another product. ## How is traffic counted? Usage counts all data sent and received through the proxy (upload and download, headers included). 1 GB = 1,000,000,000 bytes. Connection attempts that fail before reaching the target are not counted. Dedicated ports are billed per day, not per GB. ## What may I not do? The [Acceptable Use Policy](https://banyanproxies.com/acceptable-use/) is part of these terms. In short: no fraud, no unauthorised access, no spam, no attacks, nothing illegal where you or the target are. Banking, government and payment-portal sites, plus SMTP (email-sending) ports 25, 465 and 587 are blocked. You may not resell or share access with third parties unless we agree in writing. ## When can you suspend or close an account? We may refuse or suspend service in case of abuse, fraud or a legal obligation. Abuse reports are reviewed by a person, and confirmed abuse leads to suspension. If an account is closed for a confirmed breach, its remaining balance and traffic are lost. You can close your account at any time by writing to support@banyanproxies.com. ## What do you not promise? We sell access to residential and mobile networks that we do not own. We do not promise that a target site accepts a given IP, that an IP stays online, that geolocation databases place an IP in the city you asked for, or any speed or uptime figure. Using a proxy does not make an unlawful act lawful: you remain responsible for your own use and for the laws of the places involved. ## What is the limit of liability? To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit, lost data or lost business. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit. ## Which law applies, and how can these terms change? These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. We may change them; the date at the top shows the current version, and important changes are listed on the [changelog](https://banyanproxies.com/changelog/). A change never removes traffic you have already bought. ## Which policies go with these terms? Read the [privacy policy](https://banyanproxies.com/privacy/), the [refund policy](https://banyanproxies.com/refunds/) and the [Acceptable Use Policy](https://banyanproxies.com/acceptable-use/). Changes are dated on the [changelog](https://banyanproxies.com/changelog/), and the [contact page](https://banyanproxies.com/contact/) explains how to reach support. --- # Residential proxies for price, search and ad checks by city > What teams check with city residential proxies in Asia and Oceania: marketplace prices, local search, ad verification and app geo-testing, city by city. - URL: https://banyanproxies.com/use-cases/ - Last updated: 2026-10-18 - Publisher: Banyan Proxies (https://banyanproxies.com) Four business jobs that need an IP in the right city, not just the right country. **Quick answer — What are city residential proxies used for?** Teams use city residential proxies to see what people in one city see: marketplace prices and delivery fees, local search and map results, city-targeted ads, and how apps behave by location. Banyan Proxies sells them for 70 documented cities in 14 countries, from $1.88 for 1 GB, for business uses under an [Acceptable Use Policy](https://banyanproxies.com/acceptable-use/). ## Which business checks need a city IP? - **[Marketplace price monitoring](https://banyanproxies.com/use-cases/marketplace-price-monitoring/)** — Shopee, Lazada, Tokopedia, Flipkart and Daraz prices, shipping and stock by city. - **[Local search tracking](https://banyanproxies.com/use-cases/local-search-tracking/)** — Organic and map results for the same query in Manila and Cebu City, or Sydney and Perth. - **[Ad verification](https://banyanproxies.com/use-cases/ad-verification/)** — City-targeted ads, offers and landing pages, with one sub-user per client. - **[App and website geo-testing](https://banyanproxies.com/use-cases/app-geo-testing/)** — Delivery zones, currency, language, time zone and redirects per city. ## Which uses are not allowed? Fraud, logging in to accounts that are not yours, spam, fake engagement, attacks, ticket or limited-stock scalping and anything unlawful. Banking, government and payment-portal sites, plus SMTP (email-sending) ports 25, 465 and 587 are blocked. The [Acceptable Use Policy](https://banyanproxies.com/acceptable-use/) has the full list, and the [rules by country](https://banyanproxies.com/guides/proxy-rules-by-country/) summarise local data protection laws. ## How do I choose cities for a project? Start with the cities your report or market covers, then add one contrasting city per country: a capital and a regional centre, such as Jakarta and Medan, Bangkok and Chiang Mai, or Sydney and Perth. Differences in delivery, language and local results usually show up first between them. Every city costs the same per GB, so adding cities does not change the price of a GB. ## Where do I start a project? Open the cities you need from the [city index](https://banyanproxies.com/cities/), test one with the [city proxy trial](https://banyanproxies.com/guides/getting-started/), and see all plans on the [pricing page](https://banyanproxies.com/pricing/). The [guides](https://banyanproxies.com/guides/) cover setup and local rules. ## What else do buyers ask about use cases? ### Can I collect reviews or user profiles? Reviews and profiles can be personal data, which local data protection laws cover. Keep jobs to business data such as prices, stock, ads and rankings. This is not legal advice. ### Do I need residential or mobile IPs? Residential city IPs cover most web checks. Dedicated 4G/5G ports by zone suit checks that need a carrier IP; both are on the [pricing page](https://banyanproxies.com/pricing/). ### Can several clients share one account? Yes: Sub-users with their own credentials and traffic cap, one per client or project. --- # Ad verification proxies for Asian cities > Verify city-targeted ads in Bangkok, Jakarta, Mumbai or Melbourne with residential IPs: placement, language, offer, landing page. Sub-users per client. - URL: https://banyanproxies.com/use-cases/ad-verification/ - Last updated: 2026-10-18 - Publisher: Banyan Proxies (https://banyanproxies.com) Campaigns in this region are often bought by city and language. Agencies need to see the ad, the offer and the landing page as a local viewer does, with proof. **Quick answer — Which proxies work for ad verification in Asian cities?** Load the publisher page or app web view through a residential IP in the targeted city, with the city's language and time zone, then capture the ad, its offer and the landing page. With Banyan Proxies each client can get its own sub-user, and the city is one username segment, from $1.88 for 1 GB (October 2026). No KYC. ## What goes wrong with geo-targeted campaigns? - The ad runs in the wrong city because of loose radius settings. - The creative appears in the wrong language: English in Bangkok when the brief said Thai. - The landing page redirects to another country's store or shows the wrong currency. - A city-only promotion shows a price that does not apply locally. Each of these is visible only from a viewer's location in that city. ## How do I run an ad verification check? 1. **Create a sub-user per client** — Sub-users with their own credentials and traffic cap, one per client or project. It keeps traffic and reports separate. 2. **Pick the city and locale** — For example USERNAME-country-th-city-bangkok, Thai language, Asia/Bangkok time zone. 3. **Capture evidence** — Screenshot the ad, the landing page and the IP lookup, with a timestamp. 4. **Repeat across cities** — Swap the city segment for each city in the media plan: Chiang Mai, Phuket, Khon Kaen. ## Which cities do agencies check most? Media plans usually start with capitals and economic centres: Jakarta and Surabaya, Manila and Cebu City, Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, Kuala Lumpur, Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru, Sydney and Melbourne. Tourist cities such as Denpasar, Phuket, Pattaya and Siem Reap matter for travel and hospitality campaigns. All have pages on the [city index](https://banyanproxies.com/cities/). ## What should I read next? Set one sub-user per client from the [docs](https://banyanproxies.com/docs/), confirm locations with the [proxy city checker](https://banyanproxies.com/guides/verify-proxy-city/), and list the cities in your media plan from the [city index](https://banyanproxies.com/cities/). Other jobs are on the [use cases](https://banyanproxies.com/use-cases/) page. ## What else do buyers ask about ad verification? ### Can I verify app ads? You can check ads that load in web views or mobile web through the proxy. For in-app checks that need a carrier IP, dedicated 4G/5G ports by zone are on the [pricing page](https://banyanproxies.com/pricing/). ### How do I prove where I was? Capture an IP lookup from the same sticky session with the ad screenshot. Note that lookup databases can name a nearby place; see [checking a proxy's city](https://banyanproxies.com/guides/verify-proxy-city/). ### Can I click ads to test them? Do not generate clicks on paid ads: it costs the advertiser money and breaks ad network rules. Open landing pages by their URL instead. --- # Geo-testing proxies for apps in Asian cities > Test delivery zones, currency, language, time zone and redirects of apps and sites for users in Asian and Oceanian cities, with residential city IPs. - URL: https://banyanproxies.com/use-cases/app-geo-testing/ - Last updated: 2026-10-18 - Publisher: Banyan Proxies (https://banyanproxies.com) Products launched across South and Southeast Asia and Oceania change behaviour by city: delivery zones, payment options, language and time. QA teams need to see each version before users do. **Quick answer — Which proxies work for app geo-testing in Asian cities?** Route your test browser or emulator through a residential IP in that city, set its time zone and language, and run your test cases. With Banyan Proxies, `USERNAME-country-my-city-johor_bahru` gives a Johor Bahru home IP at $1.88 for 1 GB (October 2026), and a sticky session keeps one IP for a whole test flow. ## What should I test in each city? | Check | Example | | --- | --- | | Delivery zone | Is the service available in Davao City, or only in Metro Manila? | | Currency and tax | Prices in IDR with VAT for Surabaya; MYR for Kota Kinabalu | | Language | Thai default in Chiang Mai, Vietnamese in Da Nang | | Time zone | Opening hours in Perth (UTC+08:00) against Sydney (UTC+10:00 or +11:00) | | Geo-redirects | Does an Auckland visitor land on the NZ store, not the Australian one? | | Legal notices | Consent banners under each country's data protection law | ## How do I set up a test browser? Use a browser automation tool that accepts an authenticated proxy and lets you set time zone and locale. The [docs](https://banyanproxies.com/docs/) include a Playwright example that opens Chromium with a Sydney IP, the Australia/Sydney time zone and the en-AU locale. Swap the city segment and locale for each market. ## What about time zones inside one country? Indonesia uses WIB (UTC+07:00) in Jakarta and WITA (UTC+08:00) in Denpasar and Makassar. Australia runs from AWST (UTC+08:00) in Perth to AEST (UTC+10:00) in Sydney, with daylight saving in some states only; Adelaide sits at UTC+09:30. Malaysia's Kota Kinabalu uses the Asia/Kuching zone, at the same UTC+08:00 as Kuala Lumpur. Test with the city's own zone. ## What should I read next? Copy the Playwright example from the [docs](https://banyanproxies.com/docs/), keep one IP per test flow with [sticky sessions](https://banyanproxies.com/guides/sticky-sessions/), and check time zones per city on the [city index](https://banyanproxies.com/cities/). Other jobs are on the [use cases](https://banyanproxies.com/use-cases/) page. ## What else do buyers ask about geo-testing? ### Can I test a mobile app? Yes, if the device or emulator can use an HTTP or SOCKS5 proxy. Apps that require a mobile carrier IP may need a dedicated 4G/5G port, sold by zone on the [pricing page](https://banyanproxies.com/pricing/). ### How many GB does a test cycle use? It depends on the app. Measure one full cycle on the 1 GB plan; Prepaid residential and rotating-mobile traffic never expires: unused GB stay on your account until you use them. ### Can each tester have separate credentials? Yes: Sub-users with their own credentials and traffic cap, one per client or project. --- # Local SEO proxies for Asian cities: rank tracking by city > Local SEO proxies for Asian cities: track local search and map results city by city in Manila, Cebu, Mumbai, Jakarta or Sydney with home IPs. No KYC. - URL: https://banyanproxies.com/use-cases/local-search-tracking/ - Last updated: 2026-10-18 - Publisher: Banyan Proxies (https://banyanproxies.com) A search for "dentist" or "car rental" in Manila and in Cebu City returns different businesses. Rank trackers that query from one country-level IP miss that. City IPs fix it. **Quick answer — Which proxies work for local SEO rank tracking in Asian cities?** Residential IPs in the target city, with that city's language and time zone: run each query from the city and record organic and map results separately. With Banyan Proxies the city is one username segment, such as `USERNAME-country-ph-city-cebu_city`, from $1.88 for 1 GB (October 2026). Respect each search engine's terms. ## Why does the city change local results? Search engines rank local businesses by relevance, prominence and distance from the searcher. The searcher's location usually comes from the IP, device settings or an explicit location. Two cities 600 kilometres apart, such as Manila and Cebu City, share almost no local results for service queries. Inside large metro areas, results can even shift between districts: Bandra and Andheri in Mumbai, or Makati and Quezon City in Metro Manila. ## Which language and time zone should I set per city? | City | Search languages | Time zone | | --- | --- | --- | | Mumbai | English, Hindi, Marathi | Asia/Kolkata | | Jakarta | Indonesian | Asia/Jakarta | | Manila / Cebu City | English, Filipino, Cebuano | Asia/Manila | | Bangkok | Thai, English | Asia/Bangkok | | Ho Chi Minh City | Vietnamese, English | Asia/Ho_Chi_Minh | | Kuala Lumpur | Malay, English, Chinese | Asia/Kuala_Lumpur | | Karachi | Urdu, English | Asia/Karachi | | Sydney | English | Australia/Sydney | Languages from the sourced city pages; set the browser's Accept-Language header to match. ## How do I run a clean city ranking check? 1. **One session per city** — Use -session--ttl-10 so the result pages of one query come from one IP. 2. **Match the locale** — Set language and time zone to the city's, and start without cookies from earlier runs. 3. **Query slowly** — Leave time between queries; use an official API where the search engine offers one. 4. **Store context** — Save city, IP, time, language and the raw result page with each ranking. > **Robots and terms** Search engines restrict automated access in their terms and robots.txt. Prefer official APIs and permitted endpoints, keep volumes low, and follow each engine's rules. Our code samples never query search pages directly. ## Which cities show the biggest differences? Compare cities inside one country: the [Philippines](https://banyanproxies.com/cities/philippines/), [India](https://banyanproxies.com/cities/india/) and [Australia](https://banyanproxies.com/cities/australia/) overviews list them side by side. Check each exit with the [proxy city checker](https://banyanproxies.com/guides/verify-proxy-city/), and see other jobs on the [use cases](https://banyanproxies.com/use-cases/) page. ## What else do buyers ask about local SEO proxies? ### Can I check results for one district? Targeting stops at the city. For district-level checks, keep the city IP and set the location explicitly where the service allows it. ### Why do two runs from the same city differ? Personalisation, cookies, language and time of day all move results. Fix the locale, clear cookies and use one sticky session per run. ### Which cities differ most? Large metro areas split into several cities: Delhi, Gurugram and Noida; Manila, Makati and Quezon City; Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya. Each has its own page where we cover it. --- # Proxies for Shopee, Lazada and Flipkart price checks by city > Proxies for Shopee, Lazada, Tokopedia, Flipkart and Daraz price checks by city: shipping fees, delivery dates and stock as local buyers see them. $1.88/GB. - URL: https://banyanproxies.com/use-cases/marketplace-price-monitoring/ - Last updated: 2026-10-18 - Publisher: Banyan Proxies (https://banyanproxies.com) Shopee, Lazada, Tokopedia, Flipkart and Daraz show different shipping fees, delivery dates and sometimes different sellers depending on where the buyer is. A city IP lets you see each market as local shoppers do. **Quick answer — Which proxies work for Shopee, Lazada and Flipkart price checks by city?** Use residential IPs in the city you report on: load each product page through a city IP, set a local postcode, and record price, shipping fee, delivery date and seller. With Banyan Proxies you switch cities by changing `-city-` in the username, such as `-country-id-city-medan`, at $1.88 for 1 GB (October 2026). ## Which marketplaces matter in each country? Leaders named in the sources behind our country pages, read in October 2026. | Country | Marketplaces and apps | Basis | | --- | --- | --- | | Indonesia | Shopee, TikTok Shop, Tokopedia, Lazada | APJII 2025 survey: Shopee 53.22%, TikTok Shop 27.37%, Tokopedia 9.57%, Lazada 9.09% of respondents | | Philippines | Shopee, Lazada | Semrush, September 2026: shopee.ph 31.79M and lazada.com.ph 16.55M monthly visits | | Malaysia | Shopee, Lazada | Semrush, September 2026: shopee.com.my 54.2M and lazada.com.my 6.7M monthly visits | | India | Flipkart, Amazon.in, Meesho; Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart | Industry estimates (May 2026); quick-commerce order shares Q4 FY26 | | Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal | Daraz | Daraz lists these among its key markets | | Australia | Amazon.com.au, eBay, Woolworths, Coles | Retailers that show stock and delivery by location | ## What changes from one city to another? - **Shipping fee and delivery date:** a seller in Jakarta ships to Jakarta faster and cheaper than to Makassar. - **Which offer wins:** marketplaces rank listings partly by distance and delivery promise. - **Stock:** quick-commerce apps in India show the stock of the nearest dark store, which changes by neighbourhood. - **Vouchers and campaigns:** some promotions are limited to regions or cities. A country-level IP mixes all of this. A city IP plus a local postcode gives a clean, repeatable reading. ## How do I run a repeatable city price check? 1. **List cities and postcodes** — Pick the cities you report on and one postcode per city from its page, for example 400001 for Mumbai or 1000 for Dhaka. 2. **Open a sticky session per city** — USERNAME-country-in-city-mumbai-session-m1-ttl-15 keeps one IP while you set the address and read the page. 3. **Set the delivery location** — Enter the postcode in the site, then load the product pages. 4. **Record and compare** — Save price, shipping fee, delivery date, seller and timestamp with the city and IP. ## How much traffic does it use? A product page with images can weigh several megabytes; the same page fetched as HTML only, without images, is much lighter. Blocking images, fonts and video in a headless browser cuts traffic sharply. Measure your own pages on the 1 GB plan ($1.88) before you choose a larger plan; Prepaid residential and rotating-mobile traffic never expires: unused GB stay on your account until you use them. ## Which cities should I start with? Begin with the country overviews for [Indonesia](https://banyanproxies.com/cities/indonesia/), [the Philippines](https://banyanproxies.com/cities/philippines/), [Malaysia](https://banyanproxies.com/cities/malaysia/) and [India](https://banyanproxies.com/cities/india/). Other jobs are on the [use cases](https://banyanproxies.com/use-cases/) page, [sticky residential proxies](https://banyanproxies.com/guides/sticky-sessions/) keep one IP while you set an address, and the [guides](https://banyanproxies.com/guides/) cover setup. ## What else do buyers ask about price monitoring? ### Is it allowed to monitor marketplace prices? Reading public prices is common practice, but each marketplace has terms of use and technical limits. Keep request rates low, do not log in to accounts that are not yours, and do not collect personal data. Our [Acceptable Use Policy](https://banyanproxies.com/acceptable-use/) applies. This is not legal advice. ### Should I rotate or stick? Stick while you set an address and read one product; rotate between products. A sticky session lasts up to 30 minutes. ### Which city should I test first? The capital and the second city of each market, for example Jakarta and Surabaya, or Manila and Cebu City. Differences in shipping and delivery usually show up there first. ## Where do these facts come from? 1.
